N/A: I am going to be working on my story again and thank you to everyone who has been supporting my story by reading. I had to rewrite this entire chapter because while I was working on making it longer it decided that it was going to delete everything that I had written vanish so I had to rewrite this chapter while also making it a bit longer like I originally wanted. So I now give you Chapter 3.
3rd POV
The next day Sean was sat on a plane on his way to Tokyo Japan to live with his father. Sean was sitting in-between to people who were talking to people they were sitting next to while there was a baby crying in the background. Eventually the plane lands In Tokyo Japan, and Sean gets off the plane. Once he is off the plane, he goes up and escalator to go to baggage claim to get his other luggage that was not considered as a carry on. once Sean got all his luggage he went to the exit to wait for his father to pick him up. Sean was waiting for his dad for nearly an hour or 2 before he called for a taxi to bring him to his dad's place.
When Sean was able to get a taxi he put all his luggage and bags in the car and told the taxi driver where he was headed. As he was on his way to his dad's house, he was looking out of the taxi windows taking in all his surroundings of where he was going to live. When taxi got close to Sean's dad's place he stopped the car and dropped Sean off. Sean paid the taxi driver, grabbed all his stuff and continued down the small street to his dad's.
Once Sean got to his dad's, he rang the doorbell to let his dad know that he was there. Sean waited a few minutes before ringing the doorbell again. After a minute his dad opened the door and was a bit surprised to see Sean standing at his door. "Sean. I thought you were gonna be here on the 7th." Sean's Dad asked him. Sean replied with "Today is the 7th." "well, look, just hold on one second." His dad said to him, and closed the door. When the door opened again, his dad was holding a coat for a women and was letting her out while saying "Arigatōgozaimashita." (Thank You). Mr. Boswell helped the women put her coat on. After she had her coat on, she left and Mr. Boswell turned to his sin and said "Come on in."
Sean followed his dad inside and his dad while cleaning up his house a bit continued to talk saying, "This is it. You know, Sean, I was, I was gonna be there. But your mom, she said the 7th, see, and we're a day ahead of you in Japan. Well, you're here now, and that's good. So, how is your mom?" Sean didn't want to talk about his mom, so he completely avoided the question by asking "Where do I sleep?" His dad just replied with "Now, Sean, you know she had no other choice. I mean, it was either this or juvi hall, I mean, you just can't keep moving away every time you get into trouble." Sean was listening to his dad but had a smartass answer and said "Worked for you and Y/n." His dad replied with "Look, neither of us asked for this and your sister doesn't know you're here. But I promised your mom I'd take care of you just like all those years ago I promised to take care of you sister which I still do. So you just go by the rules her and I agreed to, and I'm sure you'll manage just fine."
Sean wondering what his dad meant by rules asked "Rules?" with a slight scoff. His dad answered him saying "Yeah, rules. Real simple. You go to school, you come back here right after. And I don't want to see or hear about you anywhere near a car." With a sigh he showed Sean where his bedroom was and opened the door while saying "Here, this bedroom is yours. The other one down the hall on your left is your sisters. Make yourself comfortable. Lights out in 10." After he was done talking to Sean, he walked away and Sean closed the door to his room. When Sean set his stuff down he open his curtains and looked out his window to see an elderly women eating noodles while watching tv. The lady noticed Sean looking and waved to him, he gave her a slight nod and closed his curtains for privacy.
The next morning Sean was woken up by his alarm going off and turned it off once he was awake. Sean noticed a uniform with a note that said 'Train to school leaves at 0700.' Sean placed the note on his dresser grabbed the uniform and looked it over then eventually said "You got to be kiddin'." Once Sean had his uniform on he left the house finding his way to the school while getting lost. First he crossed a bridge to get to the train station, then when he got to the train station he had to buy a ticket to get on and was pushed onto one of the trains. He ended up getting on the wrong train and he had to use a map to run to the school to make it to class. when he finally got to the school he ran into the building to try and find his class.
Sean ran through the hallway looking for his classroom, when he found his classroom he walked in while the teacher was explaining a problem to the other students until she noticed Sean just coming into the class. Sean said to the teacher "Wrong train. I'm new here." the teacher replied with "Yōkoso." (Welcome). The teacher said "Boswell." Sean replied with "Boswell, yes, ma'am." When the teacher looked down she noticed Sean wasn't wearing his shoes that are meant to be worn inside. She started telling Sean in Japanese that he needed to change his shoes but Sean didn't really understand what she was saying until he was able to process that she was talking about his shoes. When he went into the hallway to his locker to change his shoes he said "Uwabaki." After Sean changed his shoes, he walked back into the classroom.
After class Sean had lunch, he was on line to get lunch while there were other students who were cutting in front of Sean to get their lunch. When Sean finally had his lunch he went to an empty table and started eating. While he was eating one of the students named Twinkie walked over and started talking, saying "Japanese food is like the Army. Don't ask, don't tell." Twinkie sat down next to Sean and Sean looked over at Twinkie wondering who he is. Twinkie went on while Sean was eating and said "Name's Twinkie. Hey, I noticed you ain't have a laptop." Sean looked at Twinkie and said "Yeah?" Twinkie continued saying "I'll hook you up. Half price." Sean replied with "No, I'm cool."
Twinkie not wanting to give up and make a profit said "60% off. Hmm? Since we're both army brats and everything." Sean said "I ain't got no cash, man. And I ain't no army brat." Twinkie continued "All right, all right. Well, what about a cell phone, huh? Everybody needs a cell phone." Sean said "No offense, but I'm probably not gonna be here long enough to remember your name." Twinkie still went on and while pulling up his bookbag onto the table said "Then you gonna need some new shoes to book town with, man. You like Michael Jordan? I love Michael Jordan." Twinkie then pulled out a pair of red Jordan's saying "Check this out. Brand new Jordans. Not even out yet. LeBron James couldn't even get his hands on those." Sean noticed the steering wheel Twinkie had on his bookbag and asked Twinkie "You selling that Sparco steering wheel?" Twinkie answered saying "Hell, no. That's mine right there. Man, I even paid retail for it." Sean being interested now asked "What you drive?" "My ride?" Twinkie asked. "Yeah" Sean said. "My ride's one of a kind." Twinkie said to Sean. Sean wanting to know what Twinkie's ride looks like said "Show me." Twinkie joking around said "Thought you weren't stickin' around. All right."
