Lost Part 6 - The Dragon Exterminators

Ignis and Eva cruised through the forest at 115MPH in the slick car. They skimmed past the trees and bushes with swag. Eva was behind the wheel of the red Ferrari as she directed herself and her partner towards Rick's base in the middle of the woodlands.

"Eva?" Ignis questioned.

"Yes, Ignis?" Eva responded with ease.

"How far do we have to go from here?"

"Five minutes. Why?"

"Well, when we save James from some amateur dragon hunters, do you think you can change us back? That would be nice."

"Not happening. Like I said before; it's the Guardians orders."

"Sometimes I really hate you, Eva..."

Eva interrupted Ignis midway through his sentence and said, "We're here!".

As the Ferrari pulled to a complete stop, guards flooded to the front gate of the security base and the alarms started blaring. The guards equipped themselves with guns ranging from Uzi's to Glocks and they pointed them towards Ignis and Eva. The Guards started lining up in order shouting "Intruders!" and a man in a dark uniform leaned over the railing where the guards were stationed and spoke.

"Who dares to intrude on my turf... Wait, what!? Eva?! Guards, stand down! What in the world are 'you' doing here?" Rick screamed as the initial shock of finding her teacher standing in front of him dissipated.

"I'm here for James, Rick, so let him go now!"

"Not happening. Ignis is getting thrown out of the barrier because we only need one dragon to activate the reactivating spell.

"But... why did you kidnap James in the first place and why did you just refer to James as Ignis? Ignis is sitting right next to me as you can clearly see."

"Sir, what does she mean Ignis is sitting right next to her?"

"Quiet! No one asked you to talk out of line! And Eva, the answer is that we know that you and that peasant the Guardian plan to use Ignis and James to dispose of us so throwing Ignis out of the barrier is the best way to disperse that plan of yours. We already have Voridian ready for the recasting so we have the necessary requirements to get rid of your main defenses. It's thanks to you that I have magical abilities, Eva. It will be your, UNDOING!"

Rick clasped his hands together and a bolt of lightning came out of the heavens and struck Eva head-on electrocuting her and she collapsed on the seat. Ignis reacted instantly and put his hands around Eva's shoulders and starting shaking violently to try and wake Eva up.

"What did you do to her YOU BASTARD!?"

"Simple. I hit her with lightning while she was off-guard. If the spell went correctly; then she should be dead. Would have felt like being hit in the head with a bolt of lightning."

"No! You killed her! I truly despise you! When I get my dragon form back from James, I'm going to find you and devour you!"

"Newsflash, the one that switched your bodies is lying next to you-dead! Ha-ha, how do you expect to get your body back now, huh?"

"I will... NO! I'll get you to change us back you monster!"

"Is that a threat? Doesn't matter; guards! Make sure this one doesn't interrupt the ceremony."
