James began to stir. He felt himself regaining his senses as the wind tickled his body. He heard the James began to stir. He felt himself regaining his senses as the wind tickled his body. He heard the rustling of leaves behind him and the memories of the previous day came rushing back. He remembered the potion that he caught a whiff of and the thought of that alone sent shivers down his spine.

Oddly, James wanted to go back to sleep. It was like he had never fallen asleep in the first place. All he wanted to do was sleep, ZZZzzzz.

Ignis began to shift himself. He opened his eyes in a spell of grogginess and looked around. He felt weaker, minuscule even; that put a scary thought into his head. Did that witch... No way! Ignis, don't think that. Ignis' thought got the better of him and he checked himself thoroughly.

"Oh no. YAH! F***ING WITCH! What did she do to me?!"

"Huh? Ignis be quiet, I'm trying to sleep here."

"Well, you may want to take a look at yourself James, or should I call Ignis?"

"What do you mean, Ignis?"

James decided to open his eyes with Ignis' bizarre accusation and got a good glimpse of his surroundings. He looked around and his heart skipped a leap when he realised what he was looking at.

"What the heck!" James looks towards Ignis. "Yah! I'm you and your me!"

"James, the spell! It switched our bodies! What sort of evil person would do such a thing!"

"I would thank you very much. And Ignis, I better not catch you calling me evil again, thank you."

James and Ignis immediately turned their attention towards the witch as she wandered towards them.

"Could you do me a favour witch?" Ignis asked.

"Depends, what do you want?" The witch returned

"I want you to CHANGE US BACK!"

"Not happening, guardian's orders and also, I'm going to tell you this before you get all moody. My name is Eva."

James spoke up, "Why me? I didn't ask to be turned into some monster!? Also, how do know my dad?"

"You know James, when I was with you, I dismissed the thought of devouring you but right now, your little comment makes me wish I hadn't dismissed it at all."

James looked at Ignis with worry. Eva saw James' panicked expression and decided to interfere.

"James, don't worry. In your position, you could probably devour Ignis yourself but... I wouldn't recommend it."

"Why?" James asked dumbly.

"Because you'll lose access to your original body. I thought that would be obvious. Anyways, we are getting off track here. I'm actually only here to get you two to trust each other."

"Trust!? Between me and James, that'll never happen."

"Look Ignis, right now, you need to learn how to stand."

"Stand? I can stand! I might be a frail human but that doesn't mean I'm incompetent."

Ignis pushed himself up with his unfamiliar hands and put force trying to stand. He successfully managed to stand on two legs for approximately five seconds until he fell backward onto his rump again.

"Ach! It so weird not having a tail for support."

"Do you see my point now?"

When it came to Ignis' self-esteem, he hated it when people were right and he would never admit that he was wrong. He wouldn't admit that Eva was right and he swore to himself that he wouldn't surrender to her. The main question that lingered inside Ignis' mind though is if he can keep to that promise.
