Chapter one: abuse

Hey I'm Kendall I'm 14 years old and I'm from Sydney Australia. I have an older brother and a little brother called max and called Luke Hemming's from 5sos. It's quite difficult to be a famous persons little sister because the fans the tours the money it's all to much, even though I'm not famous I live in the shadow of my brother Luke, it's still hard, people who want to be famous would even regret it.. And I never wanted to.. I was forced.

I lived in a flat with my mom and my baby brother max. He's 1 by the way, Luke lived with his mates, Ashton,Calum,Michael In a big villa a few mild away. Luke's asked me to live with him.. Twice because my moms an alcoholic and she's hit me once I didn't come out my room for 2 days but I left max. She's never mean to him she pretend to love us though. I don't want to say anything though because I don't wanna leave and go into care and be separated from both brothers and my mom go into prison or rehab.. I'm scared though I haven't eaten properly since last year? Just scraps and left overs from my mom if she bothers to get any because she spends all her money on cigarettes and alcohol. She comes home late and pissed with strangers mean strangers I take my brother in my room when I hear her come with men. I'm terrified of what she's going to do next. She's never sober always drunk never coming home alone always with men never buys food and drink for us just cigarettes and alcohol sometimes whenever she gets banned from shops she makes me go in and steal.. I've been caught.. Twice that's when she hit me and that was a year ago.. I still have marks I still have bruises I'm still scared. I don't have a phone I just have a bed wardrobe and blinds that's it.

I was sat up on my single bed listening to the radio until my mom came in with max on her hip and smoking she was fat and pissed I could smell her from here!

" Oi child go get some beers " she said handing me a $10.00 note. I had too or there will consequences. I ran out after her and shut my door I left the house and went to the supermarket were I was once found coughing and I have warnings. I hope I don't get caught and there's no alarms. I picked up a row of 8 and then hid them under my baggy hoodie. I went and left. I just went through the buzzers and they all went off. Shit. What have I done?. All the security came over and stared handcuffing me and kept asking me questions. I had to lie.

" Oi miss I'd like to ask you why you were stealing? "

" I wouldn't like to think of it as stealing " I said struggling to get out of two guards grip.

" Oi I wouldn't be cooky miss, your in a lot if trouble here." He said talking me into a special room with a camera at the top of the ceiling, like a prison and I would know because I've been in one when me and my auntie Bailed out my mom for prostitution.

They dragged me to the room but I was kicking and screaming and someone came behind me I could feel hot breaths on my shoulder and tapping the police men's shoulder.

" Urgh excuse me, what are you doing with my sister? " he said. LUKE?

" LUKE? " I screamed and managed to squeeze out of the grip and give him a hug. I haven't seen him in 6 mouths. Wow, that long?

" Yes, now can someone explain? " he asked in a very deep as serious voice. The boys were looking at me weirdly? Why? Oh yeah because I'm handcuffed and going into a room with 4 old men.. Nah that's normal.

" This young lady was caught stealing for the 2nd time " he said.

" What? No No No. This girls harmless she wouldn't do anything like this! " Luke said turning to the guys. They all muttered to each other. " Wait, what? You guys believe this shit? " he said and turned back.

" She's got one more warning before we call the police, since she won't tell us her mom or dads number or were they live. One warming.. One! " the man said angrily letting go more and more until he released me and I went straight to Luke and gave him the biggest hug ever and said hey to to boys they ignored me like useful but more annoyed. Wow.

" You missy have some explaining to do! " he said pointing. His finger and releasing our hug.

" Yup will do, bye " I said running out but someone grabbed my arm and my sleeve ripped.

" What the fuck? " Luke said angrily and surprised.

" URM. " I said awkwardly souring and smiling. I was in shock.

Luke released and glanced at my burns and bruises.

" What the fuck? What happened? " Luke said letting go. " who done this? And tell me the fucking truth Kenny. " Luke said being protective.

" M-Mom " I said letting out a few tears waiting for his response.

" N-No I'm telling the T-Truth. " I muttered.

" Omg! We need to see you to a doctor. " Luke said and we walked out into their car and the boys followed we got buckled up and left. The car ride was pretty slow and boring ur till I remembered mom and Max and snapped back into reality.

" WAIT! stop the car. " I said tearing.

" What why? " Calum said from the passenger seat.

" Mom s-she's with max. " I said leaning back again hand on face going crazy. Shouting crying hard undoing my belt I was just having a crazy/scary moment of what my mom was going to do with me because I'm late and I didn't get any thing plus she hates Luke so she kicked him out at 6! Fuck I'm scared.

" Calm down Kendall it's going to be fine. We're taking you to the doctors then your coming to live with us. " Luke said smiling and looking at me through the little car window at the top.

" What the fuck? No " I screamed.

When we arrived they cheeked my over and nothing was wrong except some bad bruises and a broken arm.

We arrived back home I knocked on the door while Luke was next to me and the other boys were in the car across the street watching.

" What? " my mom said, Then she looked at Luke then back down at me. I think she only just relised it was her son. " Get the fuck away. " she yelled at Luke and grabbed my shoulder and pulled me in. It was too late I blanked out.
