[Part IX] July 12 pt.3

So sorry for the surprise months long haitus! I got locked out of my account and gave up for a bit on trying to get back in... But hey, it wouldn't be a kh fanfic without a delay..

Sora's POV

     We sat down behind a restaurant near a creek. "So, do you have any idea why maleficent attacked this world?" (Y/N) asks. I ponder the question for a minute, and I decide to leave the answer to Donald. Who surprisingly, knows a lot about this. 

     "I can only guess that she is still on her conquest of realm domination. Why she attacked earth, I can't even begin to guess why." Donald said, tapping his head.

     "I see, that doesn't give us much... Taking over a world as large as earth would prove extremely difficult. Maybe that's why she wanted to do it. But then again, earth should be in an entirely different universe or dimension than yours..." (Y/N) Says scratching her hair, she looks really pretty... 'pretty' ugh stop it sora. "The pieces just don't add up... it's all too perfect." She adds scratching her hair more.

     "Maybe it's the organization." Goofy adds raising his hand. I poke the dirt thinking about what he just said...

     "Maybe? It's possible. With them going after (Y/N), trying to take over all the worlds doesn't seem too far off... If they get (Y/N) then they can create Kingdom Hearts, and once they have that. Universal domination wouldn't be that difficult." I add doodling in the dirt.

     "Though we don't know what Kingdom hearts does, it may not do much of anything." (Y/N) points out combing through her hair with her fingers.  Her (h/c) hair loosely wrapping around her fingers. Why do I keep thinking like this?? I slap my cheeks and focus on what we're talking about.

Your POV

     While we are taking I keep catching sora looking at me, then looking away quickly. It's pretty cute seeing a tiny hint of a blush when I look back. He doesn't have a crush on me does he?? We've only known each other for a couple days.... Well I've known him for years but we just met recently. I must be crazy for thinking like that. Yet the thought still lingers in the back of my mind.
    
     "I'm starving, we should go inside and eat. My mom always ordered food here (*biological mom*)." I stand up and wave for them to follow.
We walk inside and order food. We chose a corner booth and slipped inside. Sora sat next to me and the others sat across from us.

     "So with that discussion settled, what are we going to do about finding a place to stay?" I ask grabbing a fry.

     "There's a cheap hotel a couple blocks down. It looked kinda shady though." Goofy responds.

     "It'll have to do I don't have much money." I say, sighing.

     We eat our meal and head to the hotel Goofy was talking about. And he was right, it does look kinda shady.
The person that gave us our keys thought sora was going to a con and complemented his cosplay. She let us stay the night for free!

     When we got to our room there wasn't much. The paint on the walls was chipping and the room smelled of booze and tobacco. There were two beds and a couch
     "I Call The Bed!" Donald yelled.
     "I call the couch!" Goofy said jumping on one of the beds.
     "I guess that leaves the last bed to us." I say casually. It takes me a minute to register what I just said
"U-Unless you want to share w-with Donald or goofy!" I quickly add.
     "It's fine, I'll just share with you. I'm not too thrilled by the idea with sharing the bed with a duck. Even if he is human..." Sora says
     "wow, thanks a lot sora." Donald retorts sarcastically.
     "no problem" Sora responds without missing a beat.

     I look at Sora, and then the bed. My cheeks flush but I shake my head, No No No No No (Y/N) NO. Ugh Tonight will either be great or horrible....
