Jugheads pov

With all the Ghoulie attacks I don't trust anybody in Riverdale. But I don't make that known. Betty has been put into some really dangerous situations twice already and I won't tolerate it anymore. Only problem is that I'm going away this weekend on business with the serpents and as their king I need to be there. So I've secretly asked my dad to watch over her from a distance while I'm gone. It's Friday night so I'm a little concerned. If it was a school night I wouldn't be as worried with her going out because of her studies. I give her a ride home and walk up the steps with my arm around her shoulders. We get to her front door and I pull her close to me by her serpent jacket. I kiss her passionately, she moans softly into it and I smile. "I'm going away tonight betts. Remember I don't want you going out tonight in case those bastard ghoulies try some shit." I say strictly. "Jughead I'll be fine. Nobody is gonna come after the serpent queen.." She whines. "No Betty. I'm serious. None of the serpents are going to be here to protect you. And if they know you are alone and vulnerable they will most certainly come for you." I rant. "Fine. Jug. Fine. I promise I'll stay in tonight and I promise I won't leave." She gives in. "Thank you betts. I love you." I say. "I love you too." She smiles and leans in and kisses me. I kiss back pulling her closer into me by her waist. She slips her hands into my hair and grips it tightly, deepening the kiss. I gladly accept, but as soon I went to swipe my tongue across her bottom lip, I hear someone clear their throat. I smile and pull away from her amazing lips. "Hello Mrs. Cooper." I say. "Jughead." Alice says. She gives a small smile and walks back into the kitchen, leaving the front door open for Betty. She turns back to me and pulls me by jacket, kissing me again. I smirk and deepen the kiss, gripping her hips tightly, pulling her closer into me, and pressing my hips into hers. She mumbles a "no" and pulls back. "No, you are not gonna make me all hot and bothered before you leave." She's giggles. "Okay beautiful I'll see you Sunday night at 8:00pm." I peck her lips again. We say our goodbyes and I head down the steps to my bike and I take off to the whyte worm. All the Serpents gather their things and pack their bikes. I finished packing mine and head toward my dad. "Okay dad remember let me know if anything happens. She told me she would stay home while the ghoulies continue their rampage through the night." "I got this son. Go." He says. I say my goodbyes and lead the serpents out.

FP's POV

I take off in my truck, swing by Pops for some food, and park down the street from the Coopers house and get ready for a long ass weekend. I watch the house as I eat and get ready for boredom.

Betty's POV
I'm up in my room watching Netflix honoring my promise to Jug because he was right it's too dangerous. My cell phones piercing ringtone goes off and it's about 7:30 pm. It's Veronica, fuck. "Hey V what's up?" I ask. "B! Let's go dancingggg tonight with Kevin and Josie." She whines. "V I told you I can't it's not safe for me." I say. "Oh come on how's Jug gonna find out. Get into something hot and I'll be there at 8:15. Bye!" She hangs up before I can say anything. Great if she comes here and I'm not ready, she will get me ready herself. What the hell. I need a night out anyway. I go shower and shave everything then wash my hair. When I finish I hop out and dry off, put some lotion, deodorant and perfume on my body and then go pick my outfit. And I was feeling sexy so I put on my favorite lingerie set thinking I might send Jug a little something later.😉
