Sophie's POV
I slept that dreadful night on Archie's couch. I woke up to find my phone plugged in on the outlet beside me. I smiled gently knowing that Archie must've put it there. Even though I am struggling to deal with my feelings for Archie I knew that anything that made me think good of him was something that I needed to shut out.
I sat on the couching looking through my phone when Archie walked in and leaned on the post by the entrance of their living room. I didn't notice him at first but then he gave a subtle cough to let me know he was there.
"Oh hey sorry how long were you standing there?" I questioned, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Not long." He responded as he walked over and sat next to me on the couch.
I'd say that ten minutes went by before anyone said anything. Archie was the first to break the silence "Let's talk." tears started immediately forming in the corners of my eyes and started rolling down my cheeks. He took my face in his hands and tried to comfort me "Hey, hey everything going to be okay." I nodded but his hands still remained on my cheeks.
I raised my head and looked into his eyes. They were a beautiful shade of brown the light was hitting them perfectly making me want to melt in his arms. I don't know why I did it. I just did. The pressure of everything just weighed on my shoulders and as I kissed him it seemed to be all lifted off my shoulders and it felt like I didn't have a care in the world. Now it was time to talk.
Sorry, this was short! I have been super stressed and busy with dance, softball, and school but I am hoping to get some more stuff up.
