Forever (Len x Reader)

I : The Order

"Open your eyes, and see." It said.

'I must run away!' I thought to myself.

After all, you don't want a weird looking monster with hands trying to grab you and never let you go do you?

It was gigantic with the bottom of its body that had an octopus bottom with tentacles swinging around. The top was a body of a woman and she had long blonde hair and red eyes. Part of her face is covered with moss. This monster looked so heinous and it was so scary. Also, what did it mean by 'Open your eyes, and see.'? It makes no sense. Aren't my eyes open now? If it isn't then how can I see? I didn't mind it for now since I have to escape.

I stopped dead in my tracks. My eyes widened in surprise. My mouth dropped open and I screamed.

"There could be no way! There's no way here?" I panicked.

"There's no need to run away from me." It said again.

"What do you mean?! You're obviously going to kill me and then eat me!"

The monster kept closer, when it was nearing me, I closed my eyes shut. I was overwhelmed by fear, my heart began to beat faster and faster that I felt it about to jump out of my chest but what I was expecting to come, never came.

Sweat began to fall from my forehead.

"Another nightmare?" I panted, my body drenched in sweat and my hair was tousled probably because I kept moving in my bed.

I scanned the bedroom for any weird looking monster with large hands and when there was no signs of it, I sighed in relief.

'What could these nightmares mean? Are they premonitions?' I thought to myself. I took off my blanket and then set my feet on the ground. I slowly stood up, my body still shivering from what just happened. I slowly walked to the window. I always do this every morning to check if there was any mail for me. The mail robot always send us mail through there. I looked over the ledge. There is a mechanical box that stores holograms instead of the usual paper letters that was seen on Earth. It was a physical hologram that was recreated by magic. It was transparent and the words are robotic font.

I took out the hologram from there and then I read the message.

"Urgent?" I muttered to myself. I began to read the message.

'The Musica Government has sent an order. Every young maiden between ages 16-20 are required to come to the Grand Hall for a music performance to be betrothed to the Prince of the Bass Country from the Bass Clef faction to unite the whole world once again! The maiden with the the most magnificent voice to match that of the Prince will be his eternal wife! The performance will take place a week from now. Please be noted that attendance is compulsory and please be dressed in your guild uniforms. If you are not in a guild, please dress formally!' The message ends there.

'Music performance? Can someone pull me out of it, I have no interest even though I'm of that age already.' I thought and sighed.

I dropped the letter onto the floor and it disappears like glass that's shattered on the floor except the pieces float upwards.

Betrothed to who but not the famous Prince Kagamine Len? He is the Prince of the Bass Clef Faction and the country. I'm from the Treble Clef Faction but in the famous guild, the Assassinator's Guild. Our country is called Sin for short. The Princess of this country, Princess Otohime Rin refuses to marry him because she doesn't want to marry an enemy country. The Musica Government had no choice but to agree because the Princess is quite...fearful.

'Dressed in guild uniforms eh?' I thought to myself.

Musica is created differently than Earth from what I remembered. Our planet comes from another universe. With the help of the Great Catalyst and the human war that was so great, it managed to pull us into this universe. After the Great World War on the human world, our world appeared as a floating planet atop of Earth. We are close to colliding with each other but we are also very far away from each other.
