Forever (Len x Reader)

XXIV: Violent God

Len's P.O.V

"Curse you!" I suddenly heard it scream.

Its body fell a little as it held its hand onto its head. It tightly shut its eyes and its eyebrows were furrowed. Sweat was forming on its forehead as it dripped down to its chin. I watched as it trembled in pain.

Time left before merging: 9 hours

I still have time to save Y/N and I will save her. Suddenly, it let out a scream of pain as a dark purple light started to surround it. This being, its getting stronger.

I lunged into it as it swiftly dodged my attack and then threw me back into the wall behind me. I winced in pain. I slowly opened my eyes to see it panting heavily and slowly, its mouth curved into a wide, mad, sadistic smile. I looked at it as my sweat dropped. It started to laugh slowly and then it turned into a maniacal laughter.

"Stronger.. I'm getting stronger! I need to consume more of her..."

"I won't let you!" 

I lunged into it again and then as per usual, it dodged my attacks. I managed to avoid those attacks he tried to use to throw me off balance but it failed, naturally.

The attacks from it are getting stronger and hurt even more each time. What keeps me going is her, Y/N. If enduring this pain would mean me seeing her again, then I'll gladly go through it so that I am able to save her and then save the world. Everything just for her sake.

Historia's P.O.V

Our weapons continue to clash as I had to fight both Anastasia and Ares. It is difficult. I managed to dodge Ares' attempts to attack me most of the time. With Anastasia buffing him with support magic, it is no surprise that Ares is stronger than me right now.

"Anastasia! Is this the ending you really want? You've always wanted to protect me, are you going to break your promise because of a useless guy like him?!"

At that time, I saw Anastasia flinch a bit. I smirked.

"Curse you! Anastasia will be mine!"

He looked at me with pure hatred and disgust. We continued to clash but it was clear that he was dominating the battle. How do I make it so that I have control over the battle not him? Soon, I saw an opening at his stomach and tried to go for it. Before I could even reach, he had used his elbow and hit my back, sending me to the ground. His elbow was still there and it felt like I couldn't breathe. I saw Anastasia slowly sneak up and when Ares tried to talk to her, she was gone.

She reappeared again holding Ares' hand and then threw him to the back.

"Wha-?!" I said to myself.

Soon, I felt another presence, very similar to Anastasia but different. She appeared next to Anastasia and then she muttered.

"I have returned, my Lady." Anastasia smiled at her.

"Anastasia, I knew I could count on you."

I smiled at her. All this while, I already knew that Anastasia was on my side. She didn't want anyone to notice so that's why she made me look like I'm the villain and she's the victim. I saw the glint in her eyes telling me that I can defeat Ares.

Anastasia quickly healed me up and I could stand up again. She buffed me with attack, speed, defense and attack speed. My whole body started to feel lighter. My attacks became faster as well. I went to him and dealt a lot of damage.

My final damage was a slice to the neck, leaving him headless. He looked at me but he can't run away. He will die.

Len's P.O.V

This being is being as violent as it can. Can't it be it's charging up so that it can take on Ares and then reset the world? Not a chance.

I threw myself again and started to land attacks smoother. Although, even if I am smooth and I will take a long time to react.

The punches it threw were still stinging. It threw another punch but I missed dodging it.  I looked at it in regret. I didn't reach in time.

A/N: I wanted to make Anastasia a villain and it worked out well.
