Calum and I broke up 5 months ago. I was devastated for an entire month. But with the help of my friends, I've started to move on. It's not easy seeing my friends in relationships, but I know that the one for me is out there somewhere. I just hope Calum is doing alright.
-1 month later-
I ran into Calum yesterday. It was eventful because I accidentally spilled my coffee over his shirt and it was so awkward. But we exchanged our new phone numbers and not even an hour later, I got a text from him. It was nice hearing from him, but I could only see the sadness in his eyes. I have a feeling he doesn't want to be friends.
Calum's POV
Today I ran into Y/N. It was rather awkward since she spilled her coffee on me. It was really nice seeing her again. But, I've been missing her so much and it seemed like she had gotten over me completely. We exchanged numbers though, so I'm hoping that we'd still be able to get back together. I've regretted breaking up with since the minute the words came out of my mouth 6 months ago.
-3 weeks later-
I'm going to ask Y/N out today. I really hope that she says yes. I don't know what I would do if she didn't say yes.
-2 hours later-
"Hey Y/N, can we go out to dinner this weekend?" I said.
"Oh Calum. I'm sorry, but I already made plans to go out with my friends and boyfriend this weekend." She said.
"Oh, that's alright."
"I'm sorry Calum. I didn't mean to upset you. It's just that I've moved on already."
"It's fine. I understand where you're coming from. But, I hope that we can stay friends."
"Yeah, of course we can. I gotta go. Bye Calum." She said.
"Bye Y/N."
