AU Sophie and her friends are in the human world and Sophie and Keefe are dating.
"Come on!" Keefe called pulling my arm toward the surfboard shop.
"But we can't SURF!" she called back referring to her and Biana.
"Well I'll teach you, and Tam can teach B ok?"
"Fine!" Sophie muttered giving in and picking a pale blue board as Keefe picked a black one.
"Ok so lay on your board and paddle with your hands then when you find an oncoming wave and try standing up and balancing on your board." Keefe instructed.
"I'm doing it!" Sophie cried.
"Good now lets try in the water." he laughed and looked over at Tam trying to teach Biana. "Remember Linh will help you with her ability 'kay?"
"Um hum." She said nodding and smiling at Linh. Sophie and Biana walked to the water with their boards as Keefe and Tam had said and started paddling into the ocean.
"I see a wave!" Biana called starting to stand up. Sophie did the same, but a little too late and the wave hit her full on in the face and she went under. She tried to remember that she held a record for breath holding in Exillium but the wave had struck her to hard and she could hardly grab a breath before she went under. Above the water Biana had lost her balance and started to fall off but Linh coaught her and brought her to land.
"Hey! Where's Sophie?!" yelled Keefe looking into the ocean for a figure, but there were none. "She must've fallen under during Linh saving B!" he said running to the ocean and Tam followed him and they both started swimming to where they had last saw her.
