Sophie cried for ages it seemed like. I held her in my arms and she cried on my shoulder. It felt like we were made for eachother. That God molded us and I had found my missing piece. After her crying quieted to small hiccups and sniffles she spoke.
"I just miss my old family in Borapolo. And- and then my boyfriend ditched me for her and it, it felt special with you. Thanks." She said the last part more shyly and looked up at me with her big, brown innocent eyes. I cleared my throat.
"Your welcome. Sophie, I know I've like, only known you for 2 days but I really like you and I was wondering if..."
"If..." she prompted looking at me with a small smile.
"Well, if you want to maybe gooutwithmetomorrownight?" I mumbled jumbling my words together. She nodded slowly. Processing what I just said. "It's ok if you don't wan--" I started.
"No, No. I think I'll go with you. It would be nice to have someone again." she said giving me a side hug. We walked back to their backyard after her eye dried. We agreed that we should keep this a secret because it would cause problems with everyone. We were laughing and talking as we made our way up the grassy hill. fitz looked at us. Like a storm passing through because as soon as I saw it, it was gone. He suggested we play in turns with base quest. Marella picked Biana and Sophie had the choice between me and Fitz.. of course she chose me. Fitz glared again. But started the game. Sophie and I had to quest first. We both won all five games we played.Sophie gave me a quick private hug before she left. i smiled a big smile then waved good-bye to the Vacker family and walked off to my house. The next day after school I waited for Sophie by the back doors. She came out walking with Fitz. They were laughing at something. It mad me a little jealous. Sophie said bye and walked over to me. Fitz looked confused then turned and walked off with Biana to their house.
"So." I said awkwardly.
"Where are we going." She said her voice filled with curiosity.
"I figured maybe we could go to the beach for a little picnic. I now it's simple but..." I began worridley.
"It sound lovely."
