Naomi x Seiko: Stay with me (Corpse Party)

Part 3 " What Next? "

Seiko's P.O.V

"Naomi?" As I mentioned her name, she lifted her head off my shoulder and looked at me with a calm expression on her face. "Yeah, what is it?" I moved my upper body to face her and she did the same, I knew she had my full attention now. "Naomi, will you stay with me no matter what? She gave me a smile and kissed me on the cheek, she then whispered in my ear ever so softly just enough for me to hear. "Seiko, I promise, We will stick together no matter what." Naomi then slowly moved her head until she was in my full sight again. I gave her a benevolent smile as if to say thank you. We then both turned to face the wall opposite us. sitting there in full silence. I felt Naomi's hand grab mine with not a lot of force to which I then maneuvered mine until both of our hands were interlocked. Our hands, laying there motionless for a few minutes. No one had spoken, just silence.

I looked down to check my watch and was surprised by how much time I had spent with Naomi. It was almost Ten and Naomi's Mother was still out, I then looked up to find Naomi looking at me with discontent eyes, I knew she didn't want me to go and I also didn't want to leave."You have to go don't you?, back home to Yuu and your other siblings." She whispered. I knew she would be lonely whilst I was gone, so I put my hand on her shoulder and promised her that I would stay with her until her Mother came back, that would mean that I would have to call home and say why I am still at Naomi's. I let go of her shoulder and she seemed happy with my plan. I love seeing Naomi smile, her pretty face just makes my heart run wild. "Seiko, thank you very much." After she thanked me, I got up off her bed and proceeded to her door and then exited onto her landing. I dialed my home number and expected Yuu or my Dad to pick up.

 "Hello, Shinohara speaking." I eventually spoke. "Hey, Dad..." But before I could speak another word, my Father snapped at me with a fierce tone. "Don't Hey Dad me, what time do you call this Seiko, I was worried about you, you told Yuu that you would be a few hours." I was shocked by this. Dad has never spoken to me like this before, something must have happened at work. "...Sorry." I said it in a soft tone, He then sighed and spoke in a more relaxed way. "No, Seiko, I'm sorry, I just had... a bad day at work, I didn't mean to snap at you like that, it was wrong for me to take my anger out on one of my children.

He sounded so depressed now, so I decided to comfort him on the phone. "Dad, you don't have to be sorry, you had an excuse to be angry and besides, what happened at work?" He paused only to start with a more cheerful voice. "No, no its a long story and besides, when are you coming home?" I didn't know what to say at first. "Um, Dad, Naomi's mom hasn't come home yet and so I said that I would stay with her until she came back and and we don't know when she is coming home" He took another quiet sigh. "Ok, has Naomi phoned her mother, If not she should, if Naomi's mother comes home then that means I want you to come straight home too, ok?" I worried at the though of leaving Naomi but I had to accept my Father's request.

"Ok, Dad, I love you" He replied straight away. "Ok, you too sweetie, bye bye." After our conversation had ended, I put my phone back in my pocket and entered Naomi's room once again. As soon as I closed the door behind me, two lights entered through the window in Naomi's room. I quickly assumed it was her Mother pulling into her drive. Startled, Naomi moved to her window and peered through her beige curtains. She then turned around and said that it was her Mother. "Naomi, my Dad says that when your Mom comes homes that means that I have to go, sorry." Naomi looked up and smiled. Removing herself off her bed, she proceeded towards me, grabbing me and gently pulling me in for a kiss before I left, after that moment we hugged.

"Naomi, I love you and don't worry, I will see you tomorrow, ok?" She smiled and let me go. "Seiko...I love you too." Feeling amazed by what she had said, I quickly but sweetly said goodbye and I left feeling completely satisfied. I walked out her front door and almost bumped into Naomi's mother. " So...Sorry Mrs Nakashima." She was surprised to see me and apologised herself. "No no, I was the one who should have been looking the right way, anyway, how have you been recently, has everything been good?" I quickly replied. "Yes, I have been fine, How have you been?"

"Oh fine thank you, but I have been very busy though, were you looking after Naomi whilst I was gone?" Surprised to hear her name I spoke straight away without hesitation. "Ah yes, hope you didn't mind." She looked happy with what I said. "Thank you very much, was your Dad worried at all?", "Yeah, he was, he told me to come back when you came back because I didn't want to leave Naomi on her own." I replied "Yeah, thank you and make sure you visit again, ok?" With that said, I was yet again off back home. I had arrived at home just before half past ten. My Dad was on the couch with legs raised on pillows and his tie loosened, he looks so peaceful, I then thought of my siblings and went upstairs to check on them, but they were already asleep. Cute, it was either Yuu or Dad that put them to bed. It did save me a job whoever it was. I proceeded into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, combed out my hair and and left. Walking to my bedroom, I slowly approached my bed and laid down on my back.

I start thinking about what happened today, not school, but the time with Naomi. Are me and Naomi going to stay like this? I then get worried about another thought. Are we going to tell anyone and if we do, then who? Question after question circle around in my head until they soon came to a stop. I soon stop thinking about it and try to get some sleep. I wait there until I have the sudden urge to fall asleep, so in the morning I can get up knowing I can see her. My lovely Naomi.
