The next day, Junhui arranged to meet his best friend, Jeonghan.
Around 15:00 he rang at his door, which was opened directly and he was greeted with a smile by the older one. "Come in," he said and stepped aside for the Chinese to enter.
Directly he got rid of his jacket and shoes and went straight into the living room, for him this house was already like a second home, because he was so often with Jeonghan, always when he had problems, had something on his heart or just wanted to talk. With one sigh he let himself fall onto the sofa while the other took a seat on an armchair. As almost always when they saw each other, Jeonghan began to talk about his day, and Junhui actually always listened to him, but that day he was different, not quite on the ball, because something seemed to occupy him, which the Korean naturally noticed. And he was right, he was thinking about the previous day when he had met this mysterious boy who didn't want to talk to him.
"What are you thinking about?" Jeonghan questioned, and the person he spoke to flinched and was brought back to reality. Nothing, it is nothing,' he replied, but of course his best friend immediately noticed that it was a lie, they had known each other for a very long time. "Now please tell me the truth," he continued and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
Since it would make no sense to continue lying, Junhui just sat down and began to tell what had happened the day before. He was listened to attentively, and Junhui forgot to mention the boy's name. "This boy...Minghao, right?," the older one suddenly asked, what he got a confused look for, but also a nod in response to the question. "He lives here on the street, five houses away," he added. The next moment Junhui had already got up and hurried into the hallway, where he put on his shoes and jacket again. Minghao had lived nearby the whole time? Why had he never noticed him when he looked so interesting and somehow cute? Jeonghan had followed him and now leaned in the door frame, shook his head slightly over this behaviour.
"I will be gone then."
Were the last words before the Chinese left the house and ran straight down the street, counting the houses until he arrived at the fifth. He opened the gate and stepped through, closed it again and walked along a stone path until he stood in front of the door. Xu was written over the bell, which he then pressed and waited, impatiently stepping from foot to foot.
A few seconds later the door was opened by a sleepy looking Minghao who, when he saw Junhui, opened his eyes and slammed the door again. How the hell did he know where he lived and what else did he want from him anyway? As he pondered whether to let the stranger in, knocking was heard from the other side of the door, asking that he finally let him in, but...Did he really want that pushy boy in his house? Who knew what else he would find out.
