The ride was completely silent.

Minghao had fallen asleep with his head on Junhui's shoulder, while Jeonghan concentrated on the road, Joshua constantly looked at the clock to see if they would be on time, and Junhui only looked out the window.

Outside, only outlines were visible, as it was completely dark, only the light of the car lit up the night.
Their car was the only one on the highway at that time.
After almost exactly two hours they arrived at the airport.

Junhui got out first to get the suitcases out of the trunk. This woke Minghao, who also got out and finally everyone was outside.
Still in silence, they entered the airport and looked at one of the signs that told them when which flight was leaving.

Minghao had one hour left, but since it usually took a long time to get on the plane, they only had twenty minutes to say goodbye. In his opinion far too little.

They wasted almost five minutes keeping silent and standing around until Jeonghan stepped forward and embraced the youngest.

They hadn't known each other for long, but they had got along quite well and liked each other right from the start.

"Take care of yourself and maybe text me or something like that," Jeonghan said smiling and then went towards the exit, he would wait outside for the other two.

Next was Joshua. He and Minghao had known each other for years and were best friends, the harder it was for him to say goodbye to the Chinese.

With tears in his eyes he hugged the younger one as well, but he wouldn't cry, it would only make things worse.
Minghao, on the other hand, was already crying and clinging to his best friend until he was released.

"Don't do any nonsense and write me, understand?" Joshua asked slightly sternly, but then laughed softly and wuzzled through his hair for a moment.

Hardly noticeably the Chinese nodded, then Joshua also went outside to Jeonghan, while you could still hear how he had started to cry on the way.

Now only Junhui and Minghao were there, both looking at each other for a while before Junhui embraced him and closed his eyes.
He had made it his firm intention not to cry, but he couldn't hold back the tears, the smaller was no different.  "I'll miss you..." the older one sobbed and then gently released the embrace.

Slowly he raised one hand and put it on the cheek of the younger one, smiled sadly at him and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Minghao...I love you," he suddenly said.  He must have just said it once before Minghao would disappear and he didn't expect an answer either, at least his opposite didn't talk.

Surprised Minghao looked at him, seemed to wrestle with himself and lowered his gaze.
"I...I love you too..." he whispered, the first time in years he talked just to say this to Junhui.

Now it was the taller one who was more than surprised, but he smiled and placed a shallow kiss on the lips of the other.
"Thank you. Thank you for talking to me," he smiled slightly.

Although he was sad that Minghao had to leave now, he was glad that he had managed to accomplish his task.

One last time he kissed him, then he turned around and left.
Minghao also left, otherwise he wouldn't be on the plane in time.

He still cried, but smiled at the same time. He had collected so many beautiful memories that he would never forget and for that he was very grateful to Junhui.

A little later he was on the plane, while Junhui and the others drove back home.

For now they would go their separate ways, but you never knew what would happen in the future.
