The Right Thing

You say I should have stayed quiet

Or at least came and told you beforehand

Your acting as if I did something wrong 

I'm tired

Tired of keeping things to myself

I think I did something right

But not to you

But you're right

I should've told you 

I didn't though

So at the time 

At the time it felt right

It felt like the right thing to do

She said you said you told her to kill herself 

At first, I believed her

And then I didn't

You are a great person

I look up to you

I just don't like to hear those things

It's sensitive

I should have gone to you first

I'm sorry

I will next time 

Cause it's the right thing to do.
