a/n: I worked on this fic on and off for about a month when my migraine was at peak, damn I think I wrote one paragraph a day because I couldn't think or sit up straight. Now that I'm feeling much better, I managed to finish it the way I imagined it. It's shorter than usual but I hope you enjoy this fluffy myg. MC, Yoongi, Jimin, Hoseok are all the same age. Namjoon and Jin are 1 year older.

"I still can't believe Mr. Kim gave me a detention slip for wearing tinted chapstick." You huffed, shoulders slouched downward and your hands gripping on your backpack straps tightly, walking down the hall with your friend, Lisa. "I know." She stressed, rolling her eyes off like there's no tomorrow. "Last time he gave me detention for accidentally wearing my skirt one inch higher above the knee. Can you believe it? I honestly don't know what goes on inside Mr. Kim's head." Lisa chuckled, fiddling with the strands of hair that rested on her forehead "It's just for two hours, though. You'll get through it." She added, lightly patting your back as the two of you stood in front of the cold metal door labeled "Detention" in big, bold, red letters.

"Guess I'll see you tomorrow." You sighed with a small frown on your face, waving goodbye to your friend. "Yeah, see you." She smiled before walking back the other direction. "It's just detention, Y/N. It's not like you did anything bad that's worth a call to your dad." You thought to yourself, stabilizing your breathing before pushing the heavy doors open.

Your face was planted to the floor the moment you entered the room, taking small steps towards the desk located at the front corner of the classroom where the student-teacher, who was assigned to look after the kids who were in the same situation as you, was seated. "Ms. Y/N, what brings you here?" The youthful teacher questioningly chimed. "This is a first."

You handed him a small piece of paper that was slightly crumpled in your hand. "Ahhh... Mr. Kim, figured." He signed it and gave it back to you. "Don't worry, we don't punish around here," He assured you, noticing the way your body was all tensed up, giving you a soft smile. "We just sit down and take time to reflect on the things we've done wrong. In your case, avoid using tinted lip gloss or any cosmetic products here at school, okay? Teachers here aren't as hip as you kids are."

"Thank you, Mr. Jeon" You bowed your head, scanned the room and found an empty seat near the window beside a sleeping boy with green highlighter hair. 'Whoah' You silently mouthed to yourself as you saw his outrageous colored locks, it was probably the reason why he was here in the first place.

You did not understand why your school was so strict when it comes to the dress code. It was bad enough that you had to wear tacky, ill-fitting uniforms, but getting detention for wearing a freaking tinted lip balm was getting out of hand. Private schools, what you do expect? Still, you gave major props to the boy for being brave enough to color his hair a bright color and mess with the rules.

You quietly sat beside him, making sure not to make any noise that might wake up the slumbering boy and pulled your Math textbook and notebook out of your Gudetama backpack. If you were going to spend your precious time here, might as well make it productive by finishing your Math assignment that's due on Friday. "Alright." You stated, scribbling on the blank page of paper laid out on your desk. You double checked your solution for the fourth question and noticed something was off. "Eraser, eraser, eraser." You mumbled to yourself, emptying out your pastel purple pencil case on your workspace, making a complete mess out of it only to find out that your eraser was missing. "What? I could've sworn I had it- It's with Lisa!" You uttered under your breath, you were too busy to notice that your seatmate, whom you thought was sleeping, heard you this whole time. "Here." A pale skinny hand reached out to your desk and place a small rubber eraser on top of it. Your eyes widened at his kind gesture and you thanked him immediately. "T-Thank you.." He resumed his sleeping position with his arms crossed and face nestled between them. "Cute." You whispered, face hued a light pink. "Now to get this over with and buy some ice cream later!" You announced zealously with a determined look on your face. Your next door seatmate heard your words of self-encouragement and can't help but smile.
