The Ball

Ruby was sneaking in to the Princess room. She wasn't supposed to since  she nowadays was mostly kept inside doing shores.

"Goodmorning Moonstone."

She giggled a bit.
Moonstone sighs "Morning....Ruby..."
"Did you sleep well? Did you have dreams again? Oh I wonder so how that is..."
Moonstone small spirit that looked like bright white figure in the crystal  appears looking sad.

"I did....I'm scared ruby..."

Ruby put her head on her side and a finger on her lips.
"What's wrong, Princess?"
Moonstone was still trapped in the stone and sighed " I dreamed...something bad happen..."
"Something bad? What then?"
Ruby furrowed her brows
Moonstone nods "I saw everyone was looking at me...they said she not our princess....she just girl who doesn't belong..." Was the moon king planting his seed?

"Oh no. Such a bad dream, but I'm sure nothing to worry about. It's not real right?....Oh did I tell you what today is?"
Moonstone shakes head "No what is today ruby?"
"It's Rosies Creation day. She decided that she wanted to have a masquerade ball. Isn't that perfect!"

Rubys all excited.

Moonstone blinks "creation day...? Oh that sounds fun for you ruby!"
She smiles even though it hurts little.

" Mhmm...I will be able to go without anyone recognizing me. I'm gonna dress up, I found a perfect dress in mom sewing room, and with a mask no one will suspect anything... and...oh..oh oh I'm sorry.."
Ruby sighed, she tapped her chin.

"I can't help being excited...and I will be just as excited when you come too..."

Moonstone nods "I know ruby...it just more I grow I feel there reason I'm not allowed come out...I feel I never come out intill that blue liquid comes..."
"Hmm...a blue liquid? I don't think that's...Oh I have an idea! Why don't I bring you with me, in secret! I know Rosie would love to see you!"
Moonstone eyes sockets widen "Really?! But your brother be so upset..."

"Sssch! I have been practicing my spells!...."
Ruby twirls and waves her hands and out comes a perfect fake Moonstone.
"He won't know... he's going too, out of duty says father, and he would bring you anyway....just...keeping you in that boring box alla day..."

Moonstone nods "ever since....he got sad....he hasn't been himself....he use to show me everything...and try make me shine...now..."
"Yeah...I noticed...losing Zofia...broke his heart..."
Ruby sounds sad.
"He might never...find someone again..."

Moonstone sighs "I don't think he needs find anyone else....he just need remember the happy times and move on at least he got you....I'm alone..."

"But you're not. I'm here, until you find find your destined...now come...I'll just switch you out carefully..."

Ruby takes up the Moonstone carefully and replaces it with her fake one.

"Though I don't know how long my powers will hold..."

Moonstone nods and lays on the crystal surrounding her. She wonders if she could have sibling like Ruby and Jonathan. She hoped it would be since so she didn't need look for someone in case something happen.

Ruby hides the Moonstone in her dress. Walks out as if she just been doing her chores, none of the guards would suspect anything.

She goes to her room, it's one of the tower-rooms.
She transforms to a lovely dress in dark blue and stars pattern.

"You will be the Moon on the dress, see I put you right here on my chest. You'll see anything I do.."
Moonstone smiles little "wow ...really...I wish I could do more...but this nice"
