Tragedy

Ruby holds out the Moonstone in her hands as she walks around.
She sings softly.

"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once..... upon a dream"

Moonstone smiles the song was beautiful and Ruby only made her happy with the  song choice.

Jonathan narrow eyes "Is it because you made it...?"

Val felt like he's been shot down, as always when facing Jonathan.
"No...Rosie did actually..."

Ruby sighed.
"Someday...maybe Jon dances with me again...like Jasper and Rosie did..someday when his heart has healed more..."

Jonathan sighs "Well she can't. Our parents... have been strict wanting her to stay indoors."

Val shrugs. He tugs at his shirts arm.
"You could've taken her..." He mumbles.
Why is it that he can mirror everyone else but Jonathan? If he could he would've been more confident and then may be..

Moonstone nods "I hope so...I hope I get chance ..to have a sibling and lover like you Ruby."
Ruby blushes.
"Let's dance."
She dances around in the middle of the Roselabyrinth, holding the Moonstone in her hands.
"I want you to be happy Princess, everyday, not just later, but now too because I love you."

Moonstone eyes sockets widen and giggles as Ruby dances around with her. When she said I love you she wanted to cry...but she couldn't all she could do was smile big. "I love you too Ruby...I hope we never part"

Jonathan rolls eyes "I'm busy...I don't have times for foolish things anymore...that..died a long time ago."

He starts walk away feeling how his heart hurt more and more.

Val bites his teeth. He knows he should speak up. He sees the change in Jonathan and he doesn't like it but he can't blame him either because of his loss.

Ruby sighs.
"I guess we better get back...Jon won't stay out for long..."

Moonstone nods. What they didn't know was that someone was following them.

Jonathan arrives home and  puts the Moonstone back in its place.
"I guess I lost it... the ability to talk you Princess..."
He touches his chest.
"It is my fault...but no heartsmith..."
He sits down and stares at the ceiling.

Ruby could snap her fingers and they would be home in an instant but the night was so beautiful, and she was all dressed up, even if she couldn't be at the ball. She walked back, humming.

The fake Moonstone in Jonathan's room started started glowing and then soon transforming into a ruby.

Jonathan eyes widen "Princess....?!" He freaks out and rushes to Ruby's room.

Moonstone eyes sockets widen "Ruby! You need to go now!"
She suddenly get them teleported to her room and her outfit hidden in her closet. Sadly she couldn't do much...of her being told by the ruby.

Jonathan narrow his eyes "Ruby?!" He yells.
Ruby spins around at the sound of his voice. She keeps calm.
"Yes, brother dear."
Smiles a bit.

Jonathan narrow eyes "Why you play that tricked! What if I had called the guards?! What if the queen found out...the Moonstone...must stay in my room...or in the case."

Moonstone didn't like that idea.
Ruby swallows.
"I just wanted company...for both of us. She's lonely, Jonathan."

She took a breath.
