(This story is starting around when Ruby was doing the initiation just before she got partnered with ice queen... I mean Weiss.)

(Ruby pov)

I was flying through the air looking for a safe place to land. As I was looking for a place to land I see what looked like a tall white humanoid with hints of red, blue, and green.

[What is that?]

Just as fast as I had seen it, it disappeared. I was so entranced by it that I didn't notice I was about to crash into the ground.

(Yang pov)

I finally landed when I heard a loud boom.

[Please don't let that be Ruby.]

After thinking for a bit someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turn around to see the girl in black from the ballroom last night.

Yang: Hey, Blake right?

Blake: Yes.

There was an awkward silence between us before I decided to say something.

Yang: So are we gonna yang here or go get the relic.

Blake was about to answer when her attention drifted to the right. I looked over to see what she was looking at, only to see a blur of white.

(Weiss pov)

After landing I ran towards where I thought the ruins were. As I was running, a large figure appeared in front of me causing me to come to a sudden stop. The figure in front of me looked like a Grimm but there were major differences. The first difference was the color of the being. The second was that it wasn't attacking me but pointed to my right.

[What is he pointing at?]

???: {That way.}

I jumped back in shock. I didn't think it could speak.

Weiss: What do you mean?

(??? pov)

White: What do you mean?

[You've got to be kidding me.]

???: {The Relic's are that way.}

The girl in white looked at me still stunned.

??? {Is something wrong?}

White: How are you speaking without a mouth?

???: {Telepathy. Now I recommend you get going.}

White started to run in the direction I pointed in while saying thank you.

[I feel bad for whoever her partner is.]

(time skip)

(no one's pov)

Ruby, Weiss, Blake, yang, and four of there friends are currently gathered in front of the Ruins where there is one lone "Relic" on a pedestal in the middle. Currently, however, the eight teens are all focused on the Grimm in front of them.

Ruby: I got this.

Ruby took off as Yang yelled at Ruby to wait. Everyone watched as Feathers rained down and not only pinned Ruby down but also blocked her off from everyone else. everyone watched in terror as the deathstalker went to kill Ruby with its stinger. as the Stinger approached Ruby, a F/c bubble surrounded her causing the stinger to bounce away from her.
