Hi, my name is Lilly Angelica Corbin. I'm 17 years old and in a few weeks it's my 18th birthday. I've been in the army for almost a year now, and I'm at the top of my class. I haven't been old enough to take the growth shot and the speed learning pill. The shot would make my body grow to its fullest overnight. The pill apparently tastes worse than dog poop, but it lets your mind and body learn 100 times faster than it usually can. I found all this out from my big brother, Alex, who is one year older than me, like everyone else.
I had to learn faster than everyone else, and I ended up at the top of my class. Our instructor loved me, or my enthusiasm anyway. I was sent to an extremely high ranking class that went on missions! I was so excited, until I found out what the missions were.

"Its 11:00 am and I'm sooo bored. Are you done yet?" complained Lilly.
"No I'm not, and if you keep bothering me it'll take longer, okay?" Alex replied.
"Okay," Lilly said groggily.
"knock, knock, knock."
Someone was at our door knocking, but when I went to open it, two men walked in. One was in an all black suit and had a stone cold face. He also had a nice round tummy and was about 5'5". This strange man looked like he was in his mid 50's. The other man standing next to him wore a grey and black military suit with the same facial expression as his partner. As he walked in, I could tell that he was about 6'5". He looked like he was in his early 20's, and he was incredibly skinny, Lilly thought.
"Excuse me but this is my home and you can't just barge in unexpectedly!" Lilly exclaimed.
"Actually we can," the man in black stated while holding up his identification badge. It read, James Micale Bone. M.S.L (Military Squad Leader) Age: 55 Height: 5'5".
When I finished reading his identification badge, my face had lost its color. When the second man came up to me, he asked if I was okay. The man never got a response, because two seconds later Alex came into the room and looked at me with a very worried face. Alex came over and picked me up in his arms. We then walked over to our couch in the living room.
After a minute or two he sat down next to me and put an ice pack on my head. After that, I saw the two men sit down in the two chairs across from Alex and me. Alex and I live in a three room house. It has a kitchen, living room, and a bedroom. In the bedroom there is only one bed and a single dresser with two drawers. We have lived alone for 16 years because our parents died in a fire. I was only one year old, Alex was two, and ever since then we've shared everything.
After the two men sat down they started talking. "Alex Joseph Corbin. Is that correct?"asked the first man
"Yes that is correct," he replied. "And what would you fine men like this evening?" Alex questioned.
"We need to have a word with you, Mr. Corbin," Mr. Bone stated.
"About what?" Alex asked.
"About you being 18 years old" Mr. Bone reported
"What about it?" Alex questioned
"You see one of the new rules is that all 18 year olds must join King Zack's army," Mr. Bones stated.
"WHAT!!!" Alex screamed as a very worried expression appeared on his face he looked at me and then back at the men. "I..I..I can't. Not now, I mean I'd have to leave my sister behind, our parents died and we are the only ones left. We promised that we would never leave each other" he stated.
As he spoke James said, "Don't worry. She can come with us too. She can join early," he said with a smug, almost evil looking grin.
"Really? You mean it?" Alex beamed.
"Yes. Why not? The more the merrier." Mr. Bone's words were dripping with lust.
"Ok. Can you come back in a week? By then we should be ready." Alex questioned.
"Of course. We will be back in one week." Mr. Bone said with a certain guarantee that sent a chill down my spine. Then they left. Just like they came, quick and without much warning.
The next day I felt much better. I found Alex packing our suitcases. I looked at him with a questioning look. That's when yesterday all came back. I moan and hold my head. Alex looked up from his work and smiled at me, "Morning".
"Morning," I say back. I thought yesterday was just a big nightmare. When we finished packing he sat back and laughed. I started to laugh with him, and suddenly our laughter turned into crying. We hugged each other and held on for what felt like an eternity.
