He really should focus. The professor had been talking for over an hour now and Jungkook probably got around ten words at the beginning of the lesson. He really, really should focus. But how could he, when the boy was there, looking so damn pretty.
"Jungkook!" Namjoon whispered-screamed at him, "I'm not going to let you borrow my notes again."
"Let him be hyung, Kookie's in love."
Taehyung pinched his cheek and he swatted him away with a frown, not even bothering taking his eyes off the 'front row cutie', like Hobi had taken up on calling the boy.
Jungkook loved his hyungs, but two whole hours of Art History with all of them at once was proving to be too much even for him. On the other hand, this was also the only class he shared with the cutie, so of course it was his favorite.
Anyway, Jungkook wasn't in love. Being a firmly supporter of the growing in love rather than the love at first sight trope, he was adamant about it. He was just... an admirer. He admired the boy's soft-looking blonde hair, his oversized sweaters and inevitable sweater paws, even his small fingers and chubby cheeks. He could hear Yoongi mutter a 'creep' in the back of his mind, but he ignored it just like he would with the real thing.
"Why is he writing so fast?"
Jin scoffed. "He actually cares about getting his degree on time, unlike you two fuck ups," he slapped the back of Tae's neck and was about to do the same to the youngest, but he suddenly raised his hand up.
"Professor, I'm not done."
The middle aged man gave him a once-over, probably having noticed his lack of attention since the beginning of the lesson, but still put down the eraser, giving his students the time to copy down everything he had written on the two big chalkboards.
Jungkook relaxed back on his seat, smiling to himself as he noticed the cutie sighing in relief, stretching his hand before starting to write again. He could feel his hyungs' puzzled eyes on him, so he shrugged.
"He wasn't done."
They groaned in mock disgust and went back to their books, but Jungkook couldn't care less. As the professor finally cleaned the chalkboards up after shooting them a glare, the boy turned around and instantly met his eyes. The blooming red on his cheeks as he quickly looked away was already enough of a reward.
"I think that it was really sweet of him!"
Jungkook sighed. Honestly, he should have known they weren't going to let this go so easily. He searched for support on the others' faces, but all he found was Jin's amused grin and a 'you brought this to yourself' from Namjoon. Taehyung was no help anyway, stuffing his face with salty snacks as if they weren't already walking out of campus to go have lunch.
"That was cheesy as hell, it's what it was." Yoongi tried to keep his composure, Hoseok clinging to his arm making his voice waver towards the end.
"Oh c'mon Yoongi-ah, I thought you enjoyed a little bit of romance."
Jungkook whined, covering his face with his hands.
"Can we please-"
He almost fell as he collided with Hobi's back. Frowning, he noticed that they'd stopped walking, and his blood ran cold as he followed their gazes. The front row cutie was sitting under a tree, peacefully reading a book while eating his lunch, oblivious to the five boys staring at him just a couple meters away.
"Hey!", he snapped his fingers, successfully gaining their attention back, "stop looking at him right now!"
Tae raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Are you jealous?"
