I immediately turn around expecting to see a smirking Blake approaching me but he wasn't anywhere around me .

Throughout this entire day images of Blake tourturing my body have been replaying it's self over and over in my mine.

I took a deep breath inhaling the intoxicating smell of freshly printed paper and coffee grinds before stepping into my bosses office .

I knocked on the door and wait for the 'come in' before I entered . I was about to open the door when my boss beats me to it . I look down at his hand then to his face and nervously laughed " uh , hi umm " I scratched the back of my head as my boss gestures for me to enter and I quickly take a seat in-front of his desk and he follows, " so what bring you here Emori ?" He asks with a hint of amusement in his voice and I close my eyes trying to quickly remember why I came here , "oh um I got the budget files you wanted for the new campaign " I started and he nodded as he took the files " I also wanted to talk to you about something Emori " he stood up and turned around with his back facing me and I stiffened in my seat .

" I've been considering you having you as level manager .." he says calmly and my heart speed increased " I think under some careful guidance and reliability you'll be a perfect fit so until the board decides to come to an agreement in the next six months on the next level manager I'll personally recommend James Winters as your mentor ...you'll have all the guidance you need after all you'll need someone to show you what you putting yourself up for -" I cut him off and stood with a hand on his desk " wait a minute you said James Winters and that means you doesn't it .. why would you recommend yourself to be my mentor ?" I asked confused , Mr Winters turns around to face me and takes my hand and directs it to a billboard placed in the middle of his office view " do you see that what that billboard says ?" He questions as he places his free hand on my back right above my ass and I glance at him before turning back and facing the billboard " it said uplift this world to its finest glory " I look at him and he stares back " if you really want to be the person who uplifts this company to a higher glory you'll need the guidance and support of someone close , I'm rooting for you highly for this positing but at the end of the day the final decision isn't only up to me but I think if you use my methods of work along with your own that spot is guaranteed your ..Emori " he finishes and I look away and stare at the view ' this is a great opportunity and I'd be under a great mentor after all he this company with his crazy amazing mind and talent and with that on my side this should be an easy decision for the board' I don't think I can pass this up .

" this is a huge opportunity after all I look up to you in so many ways so how can I decline an amazing partnership like this , thank you Mr Winters " I smile and he nods and I begin to make my way to the door but I was stopped in my tracks " Emori " he bites down on his bottom lip " you can call me James .. after all we're partners " he smiles and I smile back "well thank you ,James " I say before walking out of his office .

My face looked plastered like those manikins you'd see in stores because the way how my smile wouldn't leave my face it feels so unrealistic. Mia comes skipping up to my cubical and looks at me like I'm growing another head " hey..." she starts " are you like okay , did something " she opens her eyes widely and I calmly organized my work space " nothing important , I'm just going to be under Mr . Winters wing since he's going to be my mentor to help me get level manager " I bit down on my lip and smile and Mia's eyes sparks up " are you fucking kidding me this .. this is great new we definitely have to celebrate " she swings her finger between us and I laugh " it's just a mentorship ..it's nothing major Mimi " I walk away from her and she follows " your acting like you have a choice ,love " she puts her hands on her hips and I sigh " I have to call Evan he'll be so excited " she turns back to her cubicle to get her phone and I walk to the elevator.

I stood in the elevator smiling to my self and the doors open . As I'm about to step out a familiar face stops me in my tracts " Blake " I said surprised and he smiles nervously with roses in his hands " oh yeah hi " he helps me out of the door way to the elevator and I step aside " um what are you doing here ?" I ask and he licks his lips " I came to see you beautiful" he kisses me on the cheek and I blush " I um wasn't expecting you , you could've called " I folded

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise visit if I did call wouldn't it " he smirks and I roll my eyes while smiling " your playing smart okay " I laugh and so dose he " I don't have to play , Emori " he stares at me and I look back at him " so you came here to see me , you have so what's next " I check my phone then put it in my bag and he hands me the roses " I want to take you out " he says and I raise a brow " take me where " I fix my posture " to get a late lunch or early dinner and then maybe just get to know you some more " I didn't know exactly what to say but I couldn't say nothing " I'm not sure I'm underdressed and I'm suppose to go to a congratulations celebrate thing " I say quickly and he laughs " for the short time I've know you your always dressed appropriate for every occasion what your wearing is fine and a congratulations 'thing' for who ?" He ask and I smile a bit " it's for me " I smell the roses and his eyes widen " really .. what are we celebrating?" "It's nothing big Mia wanted to celebrate my boss is volunteering to be my mentor to help me get level manager " Blake starts to applauded me and I laugh "that's great.... with your bosses help you should practically have this in the bag " he says with genuine happiness for me " I can see you getting this position and if you don't I'll burn down this place " he jokes and I laugh .

He puts his hand out for me to hold and I take it with ease " let's go , I'll buy you ice cream until your friends decide to call you " he leads the way and we walk out the building " once they've got my favorite I'm all for it " I smile and he pulls me closer to him and we walk to his car and head in the direction of the ice cream store .

It's late I know but I'm already in the writing process for chapter 4 :)
