3 Why HIM

I try to look around, but all I see is darkness. "Hello!?" I shout getting no answer in return. "Anyone!?" I try again with still no reply. I squint my eyes to try and see, but all I see is darkness. A single tear makes its way down my cheek. How did this happen? Where am I? I squeeze my eyes shut to block the tears from falling. I force them open again to see if it's gone, but it's still there still hurting me. More tears fall to my chin. "Katey!?!?" I scream. I miss her. I miss my best friend. "Noah!?" I shout, though I'm not sure why. "Anyone!?" I yell. "Please help me," I cry in a whisper. What happened? Are they gone forever? "Guys!" I whisper shout with tears streaming down my face. I miss them. "Noah!" I shout a little quieter than before. "I need you!" I say again in a low voice. Why do I keep saying Noah? Why HIM? I feel so alone. Where am I? Who am I? What is happening? "Alyssa?" I hear though it is so low that I can barely tell whose voice it is. "Noah!?" I shout. It was him. I know it was. "Alyssa!?" I hear Finn yell, but it sounds so distant. So far away from me. So far away from each other. "Come back to me!" I cry in a whisper. "Alyssa!!!!!!!" Noah shouts. Where is he? Where am I? Where are we? "Alyssa!" This time I start to shake uncontrollably. What is happening to me? "Noah?" I cry in a whisper. It's so cold, so dark, and so lonely! I squeeze my eyes closed. I can't keep them open anymore! "Alyssa! Open your eyes!" Noah says calming me down a little. How would he know my eyes were closed if he weren't here. I force my eyes to open, and I'm met with a flood of light. I change it to just a squint as my eyes attempt to adjust to the light. Finally, I can make out a figure. It's definitely Noah! "Hey..." He starts softly. That's when I notice how much crying I have been doing in front of him. "Oh, I'm s-sorry!" I stutter wiping my tears. "Sorry? For what?" He asks. "For a-all this!" I say sadly as I still cry.  He embraces me in his arms. "It's ok! Everything's ok!" He whispers close to my ear. I quickly hug him back. "Thank you! For being here for me!" I cry into his shoulder. "Of course!" He whispers again into my ear which sends a tingling sensation through my body. Uh oh! Do I like Noah? I don't! Do I? We finally release and I look around now seeing that we aren't alone. "Guys!" I holler as I run to Finn and Katey now embracing them in a hug. I let go of them and turn back around to see that Noah looks irritated. I am so confused, but I shrug it off. "So, what happened? Why were you screaming and crying?" Finn asks me looking concerned. "Umm..." I start awkwardly. "J-just a bad dream!" I stutter nervously. Obviously it was just a bad dream, right? It had to be, right? Obviously it was, what am I even talking about? "Are you sure? You seem pretty shaken up," Katey mentions. "I-I-I'm fine!" I stutter again. "It's okay, we don't have to talk about it now!" Finn says, hugging me again. "Thanks!" I mutter and he just nods before releasing me. I look back around at them all and notice that Noah looks jealous and annoyed. What is up with him!?

*Noah's pov*

Why does Finn always get the girls? It's so annoying, he gets all the best ones! So what if he has a band, I love Calpurnia, but still! It's always Finn! All the girls want Finn, Finn, and Finn! Ugh! I'm so sick of it! He knows I like Alyssa!

*Alyssa pov*

He's being so weird! Whatever, I need to clear my thoughts. "I'm gonna go take a shower," I say before walking into the bathroom and getting in the shower. I sit down and let the hot water run over my bare skin. Was that like a warning or something? A warning for something bad, but if it was, what would it be? I really don't know! I need to get my mind off this! So, I'm now a character in Stranger Things! That's better to think about! The cast is the best, the show is amazing, and I am so excited! I finish showering before cutting off the warm water and stepping out of the shower with a smile on my face. I finish getting dressed by sliding on a pair of short, light-colored shorts, a Panic! At The Disco shirt, and I barely wear any make-up, but I do put on a little. I put my hair up by pulling the two front pieces of hair and tying them together in the back. I take a quick look in the mirror and I am satisfied before I open the door and go slip on my black and red converse and my P!ATD hoodie. I step outside my room before walking over to Finn's room and knocking on the door. I hear low whispers and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "Finn?" I question. "Yeah, come in!" He shouts. I push the door open and I see Finn and Noah sitting criss cross on Finn's bed. "Oh, hey Noah!" I say happily and go over sitting on the bed, criss cross like them. "What are you guys doing?" I ask. "Nothing!!" They shout in unison and I just look at them confused as they look at each other, looking a little scared(?). "Um... OK!" I say a little weirded out.

*Noah's pov, a few minutes ago*

"I just really like Her and you know that, so why go after her?" I ask Finn and he starts to laugh. "You... Think... I'm... Going after... Alyssa?" He say in-between laughs. "Yeah, you aren't?" I ask surprised. "No! Why would I do that to you!?" He asks, now also surprised. Now it's my turn to laugh, he always gets the girl I like. "That's... Really... Funny!" I laugh out and he furrows his eyebrows looking confused and offended. "You always get the girl I-" I'm cut off by a knock on the door. "It's probably Alyssa!" I whisper. "She can't know what we were talking about!" I continue. "Finn?" I hear through the door, definitely Alyssa. She came to Finn's room. What if it was to confess her love to him. She likes Finn, doesn't she?

*Alyssa's pov, present time*

"Y'all wanna hang out? I'm boooooooored!" I say, dragging out the o in bored for emphasis. "Sure!" Finn says enthusiastically. "Sure," Noah say emotionless. "Be right back, I gotta finish getting ready!" Noah says walking out of the room. "Finn!" I say, turning to face him. "What?" He says in the same tone. "I have something to confess.." I say a little shyly, his face now looks flustered and I don't know why. "W-what?" He stutters.

"I like Noah Schnapp!"
