C h a p t e r 8

Alex Pov

Falling asleep was impossible. Not being able to see or talk to Sam was eating me alive. I felt horrible about what I said to her but all I wanted was for to know that we can't be involved in this kindda mess.

I'm sure she'll get over it by tomorrow.

It was six in the morning and pouring outside when I woke, the earliest I have ever woken up only to hear someone banging on my door. The Butler was gone for the night which means I had to get up from my bed to go open the door; real nice.

"I'm I'll be right right out" I yelled.

When I opened the door I saw a familiar face. Sarah Collins. A girl I used to mess around with two years ago. We stopped talking after she found out that I was sleeping with someone else.

"Sarah" I said still half asleep. "What the hell do you want? I thought we ended this years ago".

"Nice to see you too Al, I need a place to stay for a while and I was hoping you could let me crash like used to" her said.

I couldn't help be think she was trying to seduce me.

"Why? Why do you need me to let you stay after what you did to my house that night" I said as my nostrils flared.

"OK one, you cheated on me so you deserved that and two-" I cut her off.

"You knew what this was, this was never a relationship" I snapped.

"Ugh, can I just come Alex I'm freezing" she wined.

I hesitated for a but before opening the door and letting her in.

She was shivering so I went door the halls taking me time to retrieve her a towel.

After she dried her I looked at her in confusion from head to toe. I can't believe I'm saying this but despite of her being so damp I didn't remember her looking this good.

She has thicker thighs, thicker ass, and shorter hair but nothing compared to Sam.

"Thanks" she said shyly.

"Uh no problem, make yourself comfortable but don't make any noise, I have someone else in the house.

After I said that her face changed. I knew she wanted to say something but instead she just nodded.

Sam's POV

When I woke up this morning I nearly forgot what had happened the other day.

I did my daily routine and told one of the servants to bring my breakfast to and hoped on a treadmill Alex had ordered for me a few months ago.

After three an hour of running I decided to go down stairs to check on Alex, I haven't seen him for awhile not that i cared.

On my way down i heard an unfamiliar laughter coming from the grand kitchen. It was a woman; a woman in Alex's house.

"Hey" I said dryly.

"Hey" he replied.

I shifted my eyes from Alex to her.

"Who is she" I said crossing my arms.

"This is Sarah, Sarah Sam. She's going to stay for a while due to family issues.

I gave her a disgusting look.

"How long is a while?" I asked.

"Just until I get back on my feet OK!" She snapped.

"Ugh I don't know who-"

"Alright guys that's enough" Alex interfered. "She didn't mean to say it that way Sam".
