Brooklyn's POV"What do you mean 'I'm blind'?" I asked her, COMPLETELY confused.
"What do YOU mean 'WHAT DO I MEAN'??" Gabriella asked me, totally frustrated "That is what you are! COMPLETELY Blind!"
"... Huh..?" I said, quietly.
"You have been blatantly ignoring adorably cute guys for YEARS. Even guys who were SO PERFECT!" she said trying to sound nonchalant.
"Ack. please." I scoffed.
"Oh you don't believe me? I can give you an entire list of the guys you've ignored." she said, glaring at me
"Oh yeah? Shoot." I replied, totally not buying it.
"Where do I even begin?? There was Damian, that hunky football player from grade school, he had the most gorgeous eyes... after him there was Zach the adorkable talented music student who had the most amazing voice we'd ever heard! And then after him was the the icing on the cake, Cameron who, by the way, had many, many, many girl fans chasing after him and he happened to be great at everything, math, sports, music, drama, art, you name it. Dude, he even made breathing look good! And he chose to have a crush on you. Need I go on? You unwittingly rejected all of them! How is that freakin' possible??" Gabriella screamed at me, folding her arms across her chest.
"Wait... They liked me??" I asked her, utterly confused, trying to process all this new information.
"YES! YOU OBLIVIOUS DORK!!!" she yelled in my face whilst waving her hands crazily in the air.
"Huh..." I said, nodding to myself, "So that's why they always turned into blushy, stuttering doofus' around me. I just thought my deodorant stopped working... " I finished, thinking out loud.
"I-" she cut herself off with a sigh and put her thumb and index finger on the bridge of her nose and started to shake her head slowly, "Oh my God."
Damn... Is it true? Am I really that blind??
Gabriella then placed her hands on her hips, cleared her throat and I braced myself for a lecture.
"Yes girl, you are that blind, like for real." she said, whilst rolling her eyes at me.
"How'd you know what I was thinking?" I asked her, my mouth agape.
"You still ask me this??... After NINE YEARS OF BEST FRIENDSHIP???" She asked me, staring in disbelief.
Wow...
I'm really blind. It's truly amazing that I managed to pass fifth grade.
*RIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGG!*
I almost fell over as the stupid bell rang fiercely and totally snapping me out of my thoughts.
Gabriella stood up, grabbed her purple school bag and pulled my arm in the direction of our class. Moving so fast that I almost forget _my_ school bag!
"WOAH! Gabbi, what's the flipping rush?" I asked her, barely keeping my balance while being dragged along behind her.
"First of all, we were late last time, and second of all, I wanna sneak in some extra information about the new kids." she said quickly, in one breath.
"Okay, but you've never-" I said, before being cut off by a now exhausted Gabriella.
"WE'RE HERE!!! And BEFORE the last bell!!!" She said as she walked into the class and our teacher looked at me, and I point to Gabriella who then says:
"Okay... SIR! We WERE on time THIS TIME so I think we deserve some credit!!! ALSO.... Good morning Sir..." she said, whilst totally embarrassing me, might I add.
