Chapter 9

Vernon. Vernon. Vernon. Where have I heard that name. It seems so familiar.

"This might seem like a a weird question, but are you Sofia Chwe's big brother"" I turned towards him, waiting for an answer.

"How did you know?"

Within a second all of my forgotten memories rushed in. It was him. My first love. He was standing right there in front of me.

"Vernon, it's me Y/n" I cried, tears falling down my cheeks.

I don't know what came over me but the next thing I knew, I was in his arms. Our lips were locked together, eyes closed and bodies closer.

We were in our own little world, filled with nostalgia and forgotten love. Something we didn't know was that someone was interrupting our little moment.

Hoseok.

But we didn't care it was our little moment. Just Vernon and I.

"I missed you too" Vernon smiled leaning into yet another kiss.

Before I could mutter another word, Vernon kissed me. I feel a little sorry for Hoseok, but then again he was the one who was ignoring me.

"We can't keep the others waiting. Don't forget that I can be fired" I whispered pulling away from our kiss.

I grabbed the champagne, while Vernon sat 21 champagne glasses on the tray(with my help). I took a deep breath before carrying the tray.

"Wait, your lipstick is smudged up" Vernon pointed out.

"Oh fuck" I quickly cleaned up the lipstick with Vernon's assistant.

"Better"

"Better"

"What are we in, a snickers commercial" I rolled my eyes before making my way towards the living room.

"What took you so long" Hoseok asked, his expression filled with anger.

"Ummm"

"We couldn't find the champagne, plus some of the champagne glasses broke. You should go and check it" Vernon answers serving the others.

I was shocked. I couldn't believe that someone like Vernon could put Hoseok in his place. It was kinda funny how quiet he became, but deep down I felt sorry for him.

"Y/n, come help me" Vernon called out snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Comming" I simply said.

"Vernon can we have talk, in private" the blackhaired one called out.

"Sure, Y/n I'll be back"

"Okay Arnold Schwarzenegger" I said sarcastically.

The whole room star3d at me as if they just saw a ghost. Either I look that good, or I just look like a hot mess.

I looked over to Minhyuk to gain some of my lost confidence, but that only made it worse. Why Min, why.

I finished serving the flabagaster looking group of men, receiving multiple 'Thank you's. After a while Vernon came back, but he looked very mad.

"Nonie, is you okay" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine" he said back.

If there's something bothering you, why don't you just tell me? It's probably nothing but I can't help but think if the litle talk was more than just a little talk.

"Hey I haven't introduce you to my group yet. I'm sure you're very confused over their names" Vernon said pulling me out of my trail of thoughts.

"This is our adorably sexy Leader S.coups/Seongcheol"

"Hi" Seongcheol smiled.

"This our former mother, now second father Jeonghan"

"Hi, nice to meet you" Jeonghan greeted with a welcoming smile.

"Moving on to our chill American/Priest father Joshua/Josh/Jisoo/Jisoos"

"Hi" Joshua smiled kicking Vernon.

"Not cool Josh, Not cool" Vernon frowned playfully.

" Next is our older Chinese member. Don't let his smile fool you, this man can go from 0 to 100 on stage"

"Really Vernon, anyways nice to meet you" Jun greeted with a wide smile.

"The next person is our personal choreographer 10:10 Hoshi Hoshi" Vernon cheered. It seemed like this was his favourite member.

"Hi my name is Soonyoung,nice to meet you" Soonyoung smiled.

"Our next member is the one and only, Wonwoo"

"Hi, nice to meet you" Wonwoo greeted. So that the jerk who hissed at me.

"Y/n, is you okay" Vernon asked.

"Yeah I was just thinking of something, please continue"

"If it ain't about me, it ain't nothing to be pondering about" Vernon smirked making me blush.

"Can you continue, you have 6 more members to introduce" Wonho growled.

"Okay next up is our multitalented, versatile member, Uzi Woozi"

"Hi I'm Jihoon nice to meet you" Jihoon smiled. For some reason he's so short but he looks so tall at the same time.

"The next member is our happy pill, Dk/Seokmin"

"Hi, nice to meet you" Seokmin greeted with a wide smile.

"The next member is our beautiful Giant Mingyu"

"Hi nice to meet you, and Vernon I'm not a giant it's not my fault you're short" Mingyu sneered, receiving a powerful kick to the shin by Vernon. 

"Our next member is the second Chinese member we have, The 8/Minghao"

"Hi, nice to meet you"

"Our next member, my personal favourite, Boo Seungkwan"

"Hi, I've heard a lot about you. Vernon wouldn't shut up about his undying love-"

"Well that's enough, Next member is our youngest Dino/Chan" Vernon said cutting Seungkwan off.

"Hi, what Boo was trying to say is Vernon really likes you-"

"That's it, I hope you remember their names" Venon smirked.

By this time my full coverage foundation had started to show signes of my flushed cheeks. Ding, dong. Thank God, I'm free for some seconds.

"I'll get it" I yelled running towards the door.

"I'm so sorry we were late" a handsome man smiled.

Holy shit, how can a smile affect me like that. The real question is, why is he here?

"I'm so sorry but who are you guys" I question a little overwhelmed.

"Oh, Were Got7. I'm sorry we're late, someone wanted to take an extra look 8n the mirror" the handsome man said.

"Don't act like you didn't do it too" Another member
