Chapter 1

I applied on the white ghostly foundation and deep blood red lipstick onto my face. Today was Halloween. And unlike my 16 year old peers, who were having a party full of booze, drugs and sex, I was going with my best friend Olivia for trick or treating. Yes, I know, how immature could you possibly get? But, I, Diana Faye White, didn't care about being a social outcast. If I enjoyed it, I did it. No matter how ridiculous.

I glanced at myself in the mirror, examining my purple-black dress, that ended just above my knees. This year, I was going as a vampire. And I knew any passing, real vampire, if those creatures existed, would be jealous of the way I had presented myself.

Olivia, now, opened the bathroom door into my lavender and silver themed room, gasping at my reflection. "Wow," she whispered, and I flushed in embarrassment. She was the prettier one of the two of us, yet never ceased to be a darling about everything. She was dressed up as a demoness, looking gorgeous in her strapless burgundy dress. Olivia Avarielle Li, would take any person's breath away. Hell, even I would go lesbian for her, if it weren't for my gorgeous, sexy, new neighbors, three brothers with British accents, black hair and dark eyes. So mysterious, just like vampires. Yes, I was obsessed with those mythical creatures ever since I opened my first House of Night book, hooking me into it. But enough, with the thinking, we had to make a move on before the 7 year olds had taken all the good candy!

"More like woahh to you, Ol," I smiled, putting up my hair like how they did in Regency England, a white rose adorning my hair.

"Pshh, I'd bet Lucas would definitely be turned on by what I see." she winked. He was the guy with midnight blue eyes, about 6 feet tall against my petite 5'6 frame.

"Yeah right, in my dreams," I flushed, pushing in fake fangs into my mouth. I pulled out a curl of deep brown hair, making a sort of Madonna touch.

"Girl, you've got pale lovely skin, I've NEVER seen you with a pimple ever since forever, and you know we've literally been born together. You have the loveliest hazel eyes I have EVER seen and awesome brown wavy hair I wish I had instead of this Chinese jet-black straight mop. (I'm not being racist, I have many Chinese friends as I live in Hong Kong and they complain about their straight hair quite a bit.)" she sighed, twirling her hair with her fingers.

I shook my head, rolling my eyes. "Oliviaaa!!"

"I'm stating the truth, Di." she remarked, putting on her strappy heels.

I pulled on my long purple gloves in despair, shaking my head and bent down to grab my heels. Black and purple. I loved gothic things. They were beautiful. But I didn't go around cutting my wrists like those emo chicks. Nope, I loved life too much. I had always been the calm one, even when in great trouble. Things just didn't ruffle me, and I knew that Lucas probably didn't like my kind of stereotype. I think the three Gaudet brothers liked the variety of blonde cheerleading whores, sleeping around. But something about Lucas.. was just attractive. Maybe the fact that I could never get him.

"Come on Ol, let's go." I smiled, standing up after fastening the straps of my shoes. I took a picnic basket, decorated in black and purple sash, to look the part.

She nodded, getting up. "We're gonna rock the world of horror, babe." she smirked, taking her devil's fork and black terracotta bowl. I have no clue what's with the bowl, when she could have just taken any random Halloween basket, but I guess that's Olivia for you.

I will update as soon as I can, with a longer chapter and another POV (;

And no, this isn't going to be one of those sappy vampire happy endings. I'm sorry Stephenie Meyer, but the idea of sparkling vampires, frankly speaking, scares me to death.

Gory, horrible vampires who use humans as sex toys and dump them and drain them of all blood, is more my thing. Yes, I know, rather a perverted point of view, but there goes a 13 year old trying to write something. Twilight, doesn't do it for me. It's disappointing, with the awesome vampirey-related title.

GO SCARY VAMPS. :)

PS Please review, criticize, vote, comment, spread the word and I guess that's ALL for now. :)

And no, if this seems like another story you have read, please let me know. I'll immediately stop writing, as I don't want to get sued or something, even though this is completely original from the top of my head. :)
