"Get away from it all not a care in the world. Watch the sun hit the water as the waves curl." The Jacks' one song from 2014 called Paradise runs through my head as I lay pool side at our hotel. It's our family vacation's theme song because let's face it, the Bahamas IS paradise. 😍😍 I hum along.
"Hey hottie with the million dollar body." A guys voice says.
I slide my sunglasses down my nose to look at the guy. He's extremely hot! He's got blue eyes to die for and perfect tan skin and a nice body and dark hair and holy shiz. "Well hi there." I say flirtatiously.
"Hey babe. I'm Emmett. What's your name?"
"Jessie." I breath.
"Beautiful like you."
"Thanks," I blush.
"So wanna go somewhere?"
"Sure. Where?" I wonder.
"Well a couple of my buddies and I are gonna go elsewhere- probably the amusement park- for the day since it's our second to last day here."
I giggle. "It's my almost last day too."
"So is that a yes?"
I smile. "Yeah. Just lemme text my parents to let them know where I'll be."
"Okay."

Hey mom is it cool if I go to the amusement park?

Sure. Be back in the hotel room by 5:30. Who are you gonna go with?

Oh just this new friend I made.

It's not a boy. I swear. Anyways I'll be back by 5:30.

"She said it was okay." I reply with a shrug.
"Okay cool." Emmett give me a really cute smile and helps me up out of the chair.
"Thanks."
"No problem babe. Now let's go."
"Okay. Well I gotta be back by 5:30. Just saying." I giggle pulling on my shorts and tshirt then sliding my feet into my sandals.
"Ready now?" He asks.
"Yup." I smile.
"Great." He grins grabbing my hand.
And off we go to the amusement park.
