***NOT EDITED***
Recap: Braycee and Riley go to the beach, where Braycee reveals to Riley that her brother died, and where Luke finds out the reason why Braycee has discontinued her surfing legacy. Riley insists that the girls take surfing lessons, in which Braycee wipes out. Later, Braycee recieves a note, telling her to stay away from Luke or else.

I reread the note over and over again. I had rattled through my brain all night, trying to come up with an answer as to who exactly would write this. I get up off my couch and make my way over to my desk. Opening one of the drawers, I slide the piece of paper into my diary, only praying that Aunt Kate wouldn't find it. I walk into my closet and decide to wear my ripped jean shorts with a grey tank top that had a funky looking sun and moon on it, and black high top converse to go with it. I put my hair into a scraggly braid, and take my phone, a water bottle, and my bag and plunge down the stairs.
"Hey Aunt Kate! Going for a walk, gonna look for a job, nice morning isn't it," I say rather fast, grabbing a piece of bacon and pecking my aunt on the cheek. I walk out the back door, and onto the boardwalk, heading into the directions with the shops and restaurants. While I'm walking, I see a few kids my age, but seeing as they would rather drop dead then acknowledge me, I keep on walking. A few stores had open jobs available, but a busboy and a delivery specialist don't exactly sound like my ideal kind of job. I decide to check out a yogurt place that had a help wanted sign, so I walk in nonchalantly, and make my way to the cashier.
"Hi," I say cheerfully, "I'm here to inquire about the position you have available here." I try saying this as official-sounding as I can, and keep my eyes fixed on the cashiers.
"We're in need of a cashier. If you want it the job is yours." he says, robot-like. I mull it over in my mind for just about two seconds before responding.
"The pay is minimum wage right?" I ask, recieving a nod in reply. "I'll take it!" Little did I know that my shift started right then and there.

A five hour shift with three breaks sparingly wasn't so bad. Business was booming, so I could easily tell why they needed an extra cashier. Also, as part of my duties, I had to regularly check on the topping bar, and if there was a shortage of any toppings, I would shout to the stock guy, Ray, and he would come and fill the tray back up.
After I had finished my shift, I took off the apron and corny hat that we were made to wear and place it in my newly labeled cubby. I grab my stuff from inside it and say goodbye to my coworkers before heading out the door. As it was already two, I decided to stop at the Banana as Riley liked to call it. I ordered a caesar salad, making sure I asked for extra cheese and croutons, and I sat at one of the higher tables. A waiter comes up to me and gives me my salad, which I scarf down. It was heavenly.
"Can I have another one? To go?" I ask the waiter, as he swings by my table. He nods and begins to walk away, as I yell, "AND DON'T FORGET THE EXTRA CHEESE! AND CROUTONS!" I wipe my face with a napkin and look around the restaurant, admiring the different pictures put up against the walls. The waiter comes back shortly with the check which I pay then, and I continue to look around as I wait for my salad.
"Heh hem."
"Huh?" I whip my head around to see a heart faced, blonde girl standing before me, two other girls standing behind her.
"I'm sorry, but that table is ours. If you would kindly move, we wou-"
"Excuse me but who are you?" I say, cutting the girl off mid sentence.
