Too Late To Stop

this poem was written for a book here in wattpad which was written by yours truly~

 I don’t need to explain, the title says it all.

I found love when I shouldn’t fall.

When you came into my colourless life, you came in as a stranger.

Soon I fell in love; I couldn’t pretend that I don’t any longer.

Oh heart, why did you not listen?

My mind kept on telling you “you’d end up broken”

I never intended for our love to end.

Stay with me, atleast be my friend.

You made me head-over-heels for you.

I waited like an idiot for you to say “I love you too”

That reminds me, you killed me before.

Now that I have a chance to ask,

What was that for?

Kindly explain why you made me feel pain.

Did you lose your mind?

Were you insane?

Everyone told me that this silly love can only cause me harm.

I couldn’t stop myself,

You used your charm.

Smash my head into a wall.

Help me forget that you’re the reason

Why I’m in this pool of regret.

If you read this,

You’ll know why I wrote this letter...

Or whatever you call it.

Sum everything up; you know I’m only talking shit.

Now you read my story,

Now that you know,

Please don’t mock me,

Please don’t tell me...

I told you so.
