RR-II-NNN-GG. There goes the alarm clock. The first day of school. Gotta look nice but professional. I need a fresh start. After getting a 97% in Accelerated Math, I really need a fresh start. You might think I'm crazy if that's a bad grade to me, but the lowest grade I've ever had was a 117 until now. I throw on some black jeans, a peach top, and a white suit-like over top.
Here is what I look like:
Once I finish getting ready, I kiss my mom and tell her goodbye. She's sick and she sleeps in. She doesn't have a job, but my dad does. My mom has cancer and she's been through a lot. Since I'm close to the school, I walk downtown and grab a coffee. Then, I text my friend and she arrives 3 minutes later. I would say I'm somewhat popular, but some think I'm a nerd because of how smart I am. I understand where they're coming from. My friend's name is Stacy.
Stacy:
She's so nice. She's not as much as a Miss-know-it-all like I am, but she still gets passing grades. I wish I would've worn something a little bit warmer because it's November 1st. I'm waiting for the snow to come. I planned my driving test for next Friday. I really hope I get it because I am NOT walking in this and the busses don't go through here since it's to close to the school. "Hey, my girl! What's up! I've missed ya!" I smirk. "I've missed you too!" I say excitingly. "So, guess what happened over SUMMER?!" I laugh as I close my door. "What happened Stacy?" She smiles. "Drum roll, please...!" I start to drum roll. "Okay, get on with it," I say. "I GOT A BOYFRIEND!" I look at her. "Who?" I ask. "Daniel Clark! Can you BELIEVE it?!" I laugh again. "That's awesome! Haven't you been crushing on him for many years now?" She rolls her eyes. "Enough about me, let's talk about YOU!" I roll my eyes too. " Stacy, I don't really think any boys like me and besides, I'm trying to focus more on school. Boys are a BIG distraction." I say. "Girl, I don't even know what to say to you. Just, No crushing on Daniel. Got it?" "Stacy, I would never."
