Stacy drives us to school at Northwest High School. We arrived twenty minutes early. "Just like the old days huh?" She asks. I giggle. "Guess so," I reply back. We walk in. Everybody turns from their lockers. They were looking at me... I thought. I smiled and blushed until I realized it was Brooke walking behind me. Stacy looks at me. "Hey, I was thinking the same thing too." I make a slight smile. There's Brooke. Great.
Brat. I mean Brooke:
She's SO SO lucky that she has short arms otherwise, she'd be breaking the dress code. She's always been the most popular girl at our school. She's such a spoiled brat. She's rude to all the nerds, geeks, and the " Extras." Brooke made that word a thing at our school. I know it was already used at other schools before, but she brought it here. I'm just glad I'm a nerd and not an "Extra". That would really be depressing. I feel bad for the kids. She puts her hand on my shoulder and stops me. I turn around and look at her. I was about to say something but BROOKE ALWAYS HAS TO SPEAK FIRST! " Well, won't we have a great year! You're actually looking pretty hot this year. Maybe I'll allow you to become popular and my friend. Maybe. I can't make any promises. Totes see ya later!" Wow. She didn't bully me. I will admit, I look better than last year but wow. But seriously, MAYBE you'll ALLOW me? Who does she think she is? I don't need her permission!
