As I look at him, we both knowing we are standing under the mistletoe, he smiles really big. This is so weird. This isn't right. He aims for the kiss. I back down. His smile fades. "Please Abby?" I shake my head at him. He walks out the door. I run after him. "Max, I'm sorry!" He turns around. "If you're truly sorry, kiss me right here, right now." I don't want to hurt his feelings, but guys aren't really on my schedule right now. We stare at each other. "Max, look, you know I would love to but you just got out of a relationship and--" "Stop!" He interrupts me. "Abby, I know I just got out of one, but I wouldn't call that a relationship. I'd call that a prison that you just got me out of." " Well maybe you did something to deserve that prison," I say back.  "Maybe you'll realize that your not the only innocent person on this earth." Before I can say something back, he storms off. I feel like the worst person ever. Brooke and everybody else, including the "Extras" all saw that. Brooke walks over to me. "Playing hard to get now?" I look at her. "No Brooke, I'm doing this for you. You just got out of a relationship. I guess to you, I'm not innocent at all." I storm off after saying that. It felt right to teach that girl some respect, but she's never gonna learn it. Never. I walk home crying, not even caring the fact that I didn't really get to enjoy the party at all and that Brat thinks I'm gonna do her work? Wow. I don't care that I went. I was there for a matter of six or seven minutes. I'm so upset right now, it's unbelievable. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it does. Stacy.

Stacy: ABBY! RLLY? U LEFT ME LIKE A NOBODY?! HOW COULD U DO DAT TO MEH AND LEAVE ME BEHIND LIKE DAT! IDC IF YOU WOULD'VE CAME TO ME AND SAID HEY I GTG, BUT INSTEAD, U JUST LEAVE?! I PICK U UP EVERY MORNIN IN MY CAR AND THAT'S HOW YOU TREAT ME! I HATE U ABBY!

Wow. Man, if she could spell right and use PROPER GRAMMAR, that'd be AMAZING! But really? She hates me because  WALKED ALL THE WAY HOME and didn't tell her?

Me: You're gonna have to get me a "Dumb to Smart Dictionary" so I can understand what you just said. There's this thing called Grammar. You should try it some time.

Stacy: ...............

Yep. I just said that to Stacy. My old Best friend. I really messed up. Then, I get a text from Brooke.

Brooke: Hey Abby! I know you're upset at me, but I'm wondering why you were at that party! The famous party starts right now!

I know I should've ignored this, but I decided to go so I could get my mind off things. Plus, I was NOT dealing with my little sister Any Bernard. Almost as much as a brat that Brooke is... wait. What am I saying? Brooke has been being so kind. I guess the brat Brooke USED to be. She's really changed. As much as I will always hate her for how rude she was, I don't want to be one of her enemies. It never ends well. Just side with your enemy and everything's fine. I guess I went to the wrong party. I pack my stuff and head BACK to Brookes house WALKING. When I arrive, I only see two cars. That makes me curious. I walk inside. It's Max, Stacy, Brooke, and Me. Wonderful. JUST the people I wanted to see right? I'm being sarcastic. I walk in. They're sitting in comfy chairs next to the warm fireplace. I sit down with them. "Hi..." I say to Stacy. She rolls her eyes at me. Brooke speaks up. "Stacy! Disrespectful!" Stacy looks at me. "I'm sorry for rolling my eyes." "Oh um, I forgive you." Woah. That was so weird. Brooke just used some kind of power on Stacy. Brooke has changed and she is changing everyone else too I guess. "Thanks, everyone for coming! The four of us have a bad history, so, we're gonna play truth or dare to try and cheer each other up!" Max laughs. "Is this some game to try to get me back Brooke?" Max asks. She gives him the death stare. He looks away. "Anyways, team 1 will be Max and Abby and team 2 will be me and Stacy. Then, we'll switch teammates." Great. I'm on Max's team. We both look at each other, both looking upset. Stacy goes first. I truth or dare her. "Stacy, I dare you to tell Brooke one of your biggest secrets!" She looks at me. "Stacy, why would you." "It's called Karma." She whispers into Brooke's ears and then Brooke laughs. "Not funny," Stacy says. "Pretty funny," I say. She gives me the death stare, but she doesn't scare me, not even Brooke does.
