~ haechan pov

I was preparing for school and in the middle of my shower, I heard a notification from my phone and I could already tell it's jaeni. we normally text each other about being ready for school and so I sped up things and head out after having my uniform on.

I picked up my phone and I read jaein's message, "donghyuck save me"? I looked at the message again and I started to panic. "she should be home!" I ran out of the house then rung her house door.

the door opened and showed jaeni's mother with a worried face. I bowed and ran towards jaeni, "gwenchana?" her face was all pale. she nodded and quickly she fell to the ground.

I shake her slightly and there was no sign of consciousness so I quickly picked her up. "omoni, I think I'll bring her to the hospital downtown, she's sick." I suggested and she nodded. "I'll meet you when I'm done." she looked really worried and I assured her, "she'll be okay." then I left the house and brought her to the taxi stand.

~ jaeni pov

I woke up and looked around my surrounding, the hospital. "you're awake!" I turned to my right side, haechan's standing there in his school uniform. "there's school, what time is it now?" I sat up but haechan pushed me back down. "it's already 10 am." he said.

"the doctor said that you had food poisoning and you're okay now, you'll get medical leave for 2 days for you to rest." haechan explained and I shook my head vigorously, "doesn't that means I can't go to school for 3 days including today? I don't want!" I hate the fact that I can't go to school because that's the only place I get to learn stuff. plus our mid-years are coming, I don't want to lose any marks just because of this 3 days!

I looked at haechan and sighed. "omoni, went back first. she's bringing jinni to school." jinni's my younger sister, and she's only 6.

"aren't you supposed to be in school?" he folded his arms, "how am I supposed to leave you here after what you've told me?"
