Things go wrong

A girl from behind him pushed her way from the back of the huddle to the center.
"Hello I am Zadan like coach has mentioned. I come from the team Polonia, we played you guys a few weeks ago. I play forward and I will lead this team in goals. She stepped back and coach gave his new kid speech but I was sure this girl didn't want to hear it because she looked serious.
"Okay we all need to make Zadan feel welcome in anyway we can so if you could please include her in whatever other activities you guys do..." He kept on droning on about how she should be included in our season and how she was know one of us, and yada yada. While he was giving the speech I wasn't listening I was watching Zadan. She had popped her headphones in and I was sure she couldn't hear a word coach was saying. Finally after a while coach said.
"Alright everyone line up on the goal box today we are going to work on shooting. And since we have Sophia back from her shoulder injury I want everyone to go easy. We all lined up on the goal box I was up first. I wound up and kicked the ball right into the upper corner. Goal! It felt so good to shoot a ball for the first time in two months.
"Nice shot Alex!" Coach complimented. Up next Zadan. Zadan furiously eyed Sophia she looked like she wanted to kill her. Zadan backed up and WAHM! She pounded the ball right at Sophia. It hit Sophia right in the face.
"OWWWWW!" Sophia shrieked. Her hands flew up to her face as she slumped to the ground.
"Sophia are you okay?" Coach sprinted up to her. "I need ice!" He yelled to the trainer as he frantically knelt down beside Sophia. Blood streamed out of her nose and pooled up on the grass. Coach spun around and faced Zadan. "What in the world did you do that for I just told you to go easy and what do you do? Pummel a ball as hard as you can at her face. You just gave your teammate a black eye. Well apologize."
"Sorry". She said with a snarl. Sophia looked up at Zadan.
"It's alright it probably was an accident". The trainer came back with an ice pack and lots of kleenex. Sophia gingerly tended to the blood.
"Okay everyone run three laps around the field and go home. The new girl was not off to a good start that was for sure.
