It was a normal Friday evening for the team of heroes, most lounging around one of the many living areas waiting impatiently for Peter Parker to appear so they could start their weekly movie night.

Tony and his long time friend James Rhodes were sitting by the bar quietly chatting about Tony and Pepper's soon approaching anniversary.
Bruce was sitting in a recliner reading some science magazine like the intellectual he is.
Bucky was sitting a little bit away from everyone else, still not completely comfortable being near them.
Thor was sitting on the coffee table telling stories of his many battles to try and past the time.
"And that is how a herd of sirens nearly ripped my face off, what vile creatures" he said chuckling a smile on his godly face.
Pausing, everyone sat there just starring, not knowing what to say.
"I call bull! There is NO WAY THAT is a true story!" Sam exclaimed a bewildered look on his face. The rest humming in agreement with him.
"No No, you were not listening there were no bulls, they were sirens or should I call them mermaids?" Thor said with a slight confused face.
Before anyone could say anything else Peter finally made his long awaited appearance, pizza box's and takeout bags in hand. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late I stopped for some desserts".
"Well its about time we were going to start without you!" Everyone immediately started getting comfortable in their seats.
"So what'd you get?" Clint questioned looking into one of the bags.
"I got the pizzas, wings, and the worlds greatest raspberry pie, blackberry cheesecake brownies, key lime pie, and bourbon pecan chocolate chip cookies".

"Wow these look amazing but I don't think this will be enough for all of us" Steve said looking around skeptically knowing how much all of them eat.
"Look I was lucky to even have gotten that, Sunny's desserts sell out fast, we'll just have to portion everything a little smaller" Peter was kind of bothered that no one had said thank you for his efforts.
Clint and Natasha took the liberty to divide the desserts while everyone else helped themselves to some pizza.
"Hey did you start the movie yet?" Pepper stepped out of the elevator in her usual business attire.
"No your just in time" Tony moved to his long time girlfriend and gave her a kiss "go change into something comfortable so we can get started" with one last look of adoration Pepper headed towards their shared room.
Tony turned back to his friends "I have no idea what to do for our anniversary, I mean I'm getting desperate here. I'm seriously considering just getting her drunk and taking her to a karaoke bar"
"Trust me when I say you will never live that down" Clint chimed in with a knowing look.
"Why not just do something meaningful like a picnic?" Steve gave his idea
Everyone except Thor gave Steve a funny look
"You do know who your talking about right? Tony wouldn't know how to do thoughtful and romantic if it came from an equation" Natasha slightly teased the genius, slightly.
"Ha ha aren't you just a hysterical little assassin, tell me what do you consider romantic? Hmm sharpening knives?" Tony tried challenging the redhead
Before Natasha could respond Pepper walked back in the room causing everyone to shut their mouths.
Pepper's eyes widened looking at the delicious treats "are those from Pop's diner? Oh I love their desserts! I've been so busy or they are always sold out".
"Right?! Luckily sunny made some extra for me" A happy smile on Peters face as he scarfed down his brownie.
"They are just desserts what's the big deal?" Clint looked at his piece of key lime pie.
Peter and Pepper looked thoroughly offended "try it and you'll see" they said together.
Everyone took bites of their desserts, all that was heard were sounds of approval.
"By Odin these are wonderful!" Thor said already almost finished.
Pietro looked lovingly at his brownie "How can something so small be so delicious?"
Even Bucky had a ghost of a smile on his face, something that did not go unnoticed by Sam and Steve.
"You should try the strawberry and cream cake! It's to die for" Peter made a sound of agreement to peppers statement.
"I didn't know you loved them so much" Tony looked at her. Pepper shrugged "you never listen" not really caring enough to be upset when she had a delicious cookie in her mouth.
The rest snickered at Tony's offended expression but he knew she was right. He also now had an idea on what he was going to do for their special day.
"Whatever can we just start the movie" Tony was already working things out in his head.
With that they got comfortable and pressed play.

EDIT: I just realized that pepper is allergic to literally one thing and that's strawberries FUCK! so I guess let's all just ignore that fact and continue with the story.
