Jessica Kyle isn't a genius, isn't artistically inclined in the traditional sense, or overly creative but she has food, specifically baking. Using whatever culinary gifts she has along with 2 other jobs she makes just enough to get by.

The night before Tony had asked Peter to take him to the diner where he had gotten the desserts from, naturally the young boy agreed but had said if he wanted a chance at getting anything they would have to leave bright and early.
Luckily for Tony, Pepper had left early for work. Unlucky for Tony once everyone found out he was going to get more desserts they all wanted to go.
"No, the kid said we had to get there early and waiting for all of you to get ready is gonna take forever" He really did not want to wait around for them.
"Stark we're already dressed we just got to get in the van" Sam was still reminiscing about the sugary goodness he had last night.
"Yes we could have breakfast there too" Pietro said wanting food and more sweets.
"Ugh fine! but if your not in the van in 3 minutes I'm leaving you" Tony threatened, kinda hoping they wouldn't make it.
Immediately nearly everyone started racing towards the elevator not wanting to miss out.
"I'm gonna stay back, I don't really feel like visiting Harlem just yet" Bruce fidgeted slightly, the morning paper in his hand.
"We're going to stay too" Wanda spoke for herself and Vision
"I'll bring you back something" Pietro yelled back as the doors closed on the packed elevator.
After a long tedious discussion about who would sit where (Peter and Tony got shotgun) and a nearly 30 minute drive due to heavy morning traffic that was filled with "I'm hungry" , "are we there yet?" and "stop touching me". Tony and Peter were both cursing themselves for even mentioning where they were gonna go.
When they finally arrived and the van was parked, Tony quickly locked the doors before anyone could get out. "Now before we go in there I need to remind you that you are adults so act like it, don't embarrass me".
With that he quickly got out of the car and headed towards the restaurant before they could start whining. Peter was hot on his trail.
Inside the two quickly spotted a big open booth in the back corner.

The place was a little busy but that was to be expected since it was still 8:30 in the morning. Looking around you could tell they were all regulars. The only workers seen were a pregnant woman and an older man. Presumably there was a cook in the back.
The group didn't have to wait long before the waitress headed to them with a smile on her face and a stack of menus in her hand. "Good morning! welcome to Pop's I'm Maggie, can I start you off with some drinks while you decide on what you want?"
"No we can order now, I'll take a coffee and the fried eggs with bacon and toast please" Steve answered a looking at the menu then giving her a polite smile.
"I'll have the same but with tea" Natasha answered briefly skimming her menu
"I'll have the chocolate chip pancakes and a cup of coffee please" "me too" "me as well" answered Peter, Pietro, and Thor
"I'll get the chicken and waffles with a side of Mac& Cheese and coffee" Clint ordered closing his menu
Rhodey looked up at the waitress "Can I get the breakfast bagel with avocado and coffee?" "sure"
"Get me 2 eggs sunny side up with avocado toast, berries on the side and some coffee" Tony didn't even look at the menu
"I'll get the French toast and coffee" Sam ordered
Maggie looked at Bucky "and for you?". He briefly looked down at the menu "coffee and pancakes" he mumbled but she heard him.
"Also what desserts do you have back there?" Tony did not forget the whole reason they came here.
"Oh sorry, our resident pastry chef is running a little late today so if you want anything your gonna have to wait awhile" Maggie looked apologetic and slightly worried.
"It's ok we can wait" Sam reassured her.
"Anything else?" Maggie questioned collecting the menus.
"Actually make that 7 coffees and 2 glasses of orange juice, the last thing we need is you two wired" Tony said looking at Peter and Pietro. Both boys rolled their eyes but didn't argue.

"I'll be right back" chuckling slightly she walked away to get their drinks.
"Well this was a bust" Tony was frustrated this wasn't going as smoothly as he hoped.
"It's fine we'll just eat some breakfast while we wait" Rhodey tried calming his friend.
"Yes, then we shall have more chocolatey goodness!" Thor said enthusiastically.
Calming down Tony took a deep breath and they all started lightly chatting while they waited for their food.
