Chapter 9

Okay one thing before you start reading this chapter: Sorry, but the part with Jim's pov is much longer than the part with Roxy's pov. I thought it was just the best to write it with Jim's pov, so that's why it's like twice as long as the other part. This chapter is also really long, I hope you like it. It's one of my favourite chapters..

Roxy's pov

We arrive at the cinema and he stops the car. Okay this is gonna be so embarrassing... I hate horror movies. Like, hate hate. But I want to go to this one, I don't want to disappoint him. So I'll just.. Not look at the screen or something. We both get out of the car and he looks at me, I look back. "I'm gonna pay." He wants to pay.. "Nonono, just because you're the guy doesn't mean you have to pay.. I'll pay my own ticket." He laughs; "Okay okay, if that's what you want.."  I smile; "That's what I want but.. I also want you.." Wait.. Did I just say that out loud? Fuck.. He looks at me like: wait what? "Wow okay errmm... Good to know.." I look down and say; "I mean... Errmm... Just forget that I said that okay?" No don't forget it... Ugh, why can't I just say normal things? The things I wanna say? He smiles; "No I don't wanna forget that.." I look confused at him, but I don't say anything. We just walk to the cinema, but suddenly I feel his hand is touching mine. Slowly he turns his hand, and carefully he takes my hand. I get a weird feeling in my stomach again and I hold his hand. His hand is so warm.. He acts like it's totally normal that he just took my hand and looks at the cinema doors. We walk in, and he buys 2 tickets. When he already payed them I realize I was going to pay my own ticket. "Okay I'm gonna give you the money back.." I give him the money back but he doesn't want to take it. "Nonono, I payed for you and you're not paying me back. Just get used to me paying things, I am the guy it's my job to pay." I sigh; "Okay fine, but next time it's my turn to pay!" We sit down and the movie begins.

Jim's pov

She sits next to me, and I wish I was still holding her hand. She said she wanted me.. I look at the screen, and then look at her again. She doesn't notice, she is focusing on the movie. I've already seen this movie and I know that there is a jump scare in 10 seconds. I look back at the screen again and I wait for the jump scare. I don't jump, but Roxy does. She screams, jumps and grabs my arm. I laugh and whisper: "Calm down, it's just a movie.." She looks scared but cute at me, still holding my arm. "I know I know I just.. Jumped." Looking forward to the next jump scare.. The movie continues, and I feel her hand is slowly moving down from my arm to my hand, until she's holding my hand instead of my arm. I look at her, and she looks back. I smile bright, she is holding my hand again. She smiles back, and looks at the screen again. Another jumps scare, I don't jump. But she does... She jumps, screams a little bit and squeezes my hand. Awwhh so cute.. I hug her, and whisper in her ear: "Hey, are you okay?" She hugs back and whispers back: "Yeah I'm fine I just.. C.. Can you hold me please?" I feel my whole body becoming warm. "Yes of course, I would love to." I put an arm around her and she lays her head against my chest again. With my other hand I'm still holding her hand, and I stroke her hand with my thumb. I whisper: "Okay I'll warn you when there's another jump scare, just close your eyes okay?" She smiles a bit and says: "Okay yeah, thanks.." We continue watching the movie and the rest of the movie she lays in my arms. She is so pretty and cute awwhh... I wish she could be mine.. At the end of the movie I tell her that there's 10 minutes left and that there are no jump scares anymore. She gets up, and looks at me. I look back, and come very close to her face. My lips are almost touching hers, she takes my cheeks and finally, finally my lips touch hers. I've been waiting so long for this.. I lay my hands in her neck, and she kisses me soft and careful. I kiss back, of course I kiss back. I try to kiss also soft, and I think I'm doing a pretty good job. Everything around us seems to disappear. It's just the 2 of us, no noise of the movie and no people sitting around us. I stoke her jaw with my thumb, and she lays one hand on my shoulder and one hand on my back. It feels like we are kissing for ages, but then I hear the movie stopping and I see the lights are going back on. We stop kissing, and I look at her, smiling. "D.. Does this mean you like me?" Please say yes, please say yes, pleaseee.. She nods; "Yes.. I'm in love with you.." My heart is beating really fast, and I feel like my stomach is dancing inside me. I smile even brighter; "I'm in love with you too.." She turns red and I see she's shaking. "Are you my boyfriend now..?" She wants me to be her boyfriend.. She wants me to be her boyfriend! "Yes if you.. If you want me to be.." She smiles very cute and then says the best sentence I've ever heard in my whole life: "Yes.. I want you to be my boyfriend."
