As everyone was gettin seated, lots of thoughts were running in my head.
'What was Adil doing here, Is he here to cause trouble or much more wierder... IS HE ASSOCIATED WITH TH COMPANY??....nooooo that cant be....right??...aagghh whatever, this is all too much to take in
My thought were interupted when kawthar nugged me on my side and whispered to me.. "Are u ganna start your presentation already or are you ganna fluck this out for us huh!!"
"Am soo sorry ladies and gentlemen for making you wait this long, my stupid thoughts just took over my mind for a minute there" i replied back as i went up front to do my part of the presentation
I finnished the presentation nice and smoothly and the only part that awaited for me is the questioning part which I really didnt wanna do it but i what could i do...
"How much guarantee do you think your company has to gain our trusts and funds, miss....?" Adil questioned Yusra at the end acting as if he doesnt know her.
"Its 'miss Abdi' sir and our company will not just bring a raise to your salary check but will also bring you lots of thawabs In shaa Allah, because thats our drive force. With the help of Allah everything will be okay, Any more questions?" yusra answered and went back to her seet when she saw there were no further questions asked.
Mr.Hamir was impressed with what Miss.Abdi replied back to Adil, but he felt a huge tension between them and thought to ask him about it later on.
Yusra had to admitt that she was taken back with the fact that adil acted like he didnt know her but eventually excused her thoughts away.
The meeting went well and what was left is shamshad to close the meeting with a speech. I just hope she wont fluck this out for us, i thought.
Shamshad went up the front to start her speech, I could see her nervous from the way she was holding the papers. I could swear that the papers would fall if she continues acting like that but I pray they wont or else it'll be embarrassing for her. Ooh Allah please let this all go smoothly till the end.
As i was soo immersed in shamshad's speech i noticed a smile on Mr.Hamir and Adil, a smile i couldnt understand its meaning of...
I pushed away my wierd thought with 'maybe they were just impressed with her speech and would love to work with us as soon as possible....right?'
The meeting ended with applauds and all whats left is for Mr.Hamir to sign the papers and we can start with the projects as soon as we can!!
"Miss Abdi, I was impressed with your presentation though at the end you were fiesty but not bad" Ilyas answered as he approached yusra and her friends
"uummhh...thank you Mr. Hashim am glad you were impressed with it but dont you think its time to sign the papers once and for all.....what I mean is that the earlier the better right?" I questioned ilyas
"you're right, the earlier the better but i just thought maybe we should first know each other atleast by names before the signing thing happens, or dont you think so too miss...?" ilyas turned his head to the girl who caught his attension ever since he entered the room
Shamsa let out a small giggle at first before answering "Its Miss Awadh and why does this feel soo farmiliar with what adil did to you yusra"
"I know but no worries, shamshad and I are ganna make him spill all the beans today at home" I replied glacing at shamshad then turning my head to adil's direction
