CHAPTER THREE: 2 years later
Maxi Violet Kya's POV:
I can smell the autumn leaves laying around me, I can feel the cool breeze running through my coat, the laughter of my friends around me makes me feel at peace. I look done at the marks covering my body. It's been two years since that dreadful night. Two years of pain, laughter, love and war. Jesse saved me that night or so i thought.....
Ashley's POV:
I'd taken Maxi out for a run today to get her away from the place thats haunted her for the past two years. She always seems calmer and at peace with herself when she runs. We lay laughing at the birds above us fighting over their supper. It's nice to hear those sounds coming from her, the sounds she only shares when shes away from home, from Jesse.
