spent more time with my friends, i ain't worried bout nothin...

after jacob and mia broke up for the second time, mia really started to focus on the rest of the school year.

with two weeks left, that meant finals week was coming, and it was coming quick.

finals week of junior year was crazy.

mia studied her ass off, and thankfully passed all her exams with good grades.

then, it was finally summer break.

my friends and i spent most of the summer together.

we would go shopping, go out to eat, have sleepovers, and take trips to the ocean.

i also spent a lot of time with my brother.

we hung out a lot, and it was really fun.

that's when my singing career kinda took off.

i was getting noticed more and more, and one of my songs that i wrote got played on the radio!

i was astounded.

i never thought that would happen.

on august 1st, my mom and i flew out to los angeles, california.

a management team had reached out to me, inviting me to come stay a week in la with them, to see how i liked the city and if i wanted to permanently stay here to work on my career.

after that week, we flew back home.

my mom and i talked, along with my dad, and decided that i would move to la, and switch to online school.

they were very supportive of my singing career, and wanted me to do whatever made me happy.

and so, on august 31st, i officially moved to la.

my parents found a small apartment for me, and with their help, we bought it.

my brother moved to la with me.

as he's 22, my parents wanted him to go with me if he agreed, and he happily said yes.

and now is the time when zach herron starts to come into my story.
