after breaking up with jacob for the second time, mia spent a lot of time thinking about the past two years.

she thought about why her and jacob's first attempt went wrong.

she came to the conclusion that maybe they were just too young.

then, mia thought about her and dylan.

from that, she learned that she should've broken up with him sooner, it would have saved her a lot of heartbreak.

then mia thought about her and jacob' second try.

and from that, she concluded the same thing.

it was junior year, the most important year of high school according to everyone.

with sats, and starting college planning, both of them were under a shit ton of stress.
