Josiah

A man that had healing powers, fixed my broken arm. I thanked him and he nodded in return. I went to look for Percy. I wanted him to come with Lukan, Antilia, Liam, Nagama, and I to celebrate our victory. I jogged over to where I saw him last, during the fight. I couldn't find him. I looked around. Maybe he'd walked away? As I moved closer, I saw something. Snow white hair.

"No." I gasped.

I sprinted toward the body. Is he dead? Maybe just injured.

He lay there, stiff. No blood anywhere, his eyes still open, mouth gaping. What happened to him? I heard footsteps approach, and looked up to see someone over me.

"Did you see what happened to this man?" I bent down and picked Percy's body up. He was quite light, but then again he was half my size.

"You didn't see? The blast that killed that witch, it came from him. I guess he used his last breath to kill her." he said as I walked away from him.

Percy

I never knew about what would happen after death. I thought maybe if the gods decided that I had lived a good life and hadn't offended them in living it, I might be granted passage to Elysium, be reborn again. Then again maybe I would end up in my parent's Christian version of heaven or maybe hell.

Who knew. I didn't. So now, I'm dead and all there is, is nothingness. Not darkness, that would mean there was light somewhere, and no, there was no blinding light to go to. It's like when you remember that you slept, but didn't dream, and all that fills that memory of sleep, is nothing.

So, I think that it is fitting that death is the final sleep. May I have sleep and rest for eternity and simultaneously the memories of my life.

I lie back, so to speak, and rest.

Lukan

Antilia, Liam, Nagama, and I waited for Josiah as he went to look for Percy. I hate not having told the kid what was going to happen.

"What are we going to do about the agents outside?" Antilia asked.

I had almost forgotten about them.

The agents that had been under Yvonna's control were now conscious and most likely calling in re-enforcements. Some of them were trying to break through the force-field. Griffin, the man that was keeping the force field in place must have survived somehow. What strength!

"Liam, you know about the agents. What should we do?" I asked.

"Well. They have weapons that could kill us in an instant. They have us surrounded. So, I think that if Antilia can. She needs to teleport all of us out of here and everyone could find their way home from wherever we go.

"What about the dead?" Nagama asked sadly.

"We'll bury them." Liam stated matter of factly.

"All of them?!" questioned Nagama. "There are hundreds of them."

"We have powers. We'll figure it out."

The Buddhist expresses it in one way, the Christian in another, but both say the same: We are all one.
