"I wonder why Tania's phone is switched off. It rang at first but got cut off almost immediately.
Apparently, Megan had been the reason Tania got caught.
"Why're you calling her anyway?", asked Allen, who was playing chess with Basil.
"Her mathematics notebook is somehow with Megan and there's homework in it. Hence, it's important. I doubt yours is important to you", Basil answered and smiled as he won the round, leaving Allen's jaw hanging.
"Did you really have to rub it in my face?"
"Which? The checkmate or the compliment?"
"The compliment. Wait. What? You won again?"
Basil rolled his eyes.
"Sometimes I wonder how your brain works."
Megan turned to the guys.
"Guys, I kind of of have a bad feeling about this. It just feels... weird."
"You do know that you could always go to her place right?"
Megan looked at Basil.
"I think I understand you now."
"So?"
"Okay. You guys coming?"
"Sure." Basil turned to Allen, just to see him writing on the air.
"Definitely not him"
"And he thinks I'm going to go out with him?"
The duo left and headed for the door, with Allen running after them when he finally came to his senses.
"Where're you guys going to?"
The trio turned to face the owner of the voice - Abby, a spoilt, mean girl, more like a queen bee, who also went to Royalties.
"To Tania's."
"Why?"
"None of your business."
"You want to go to her place to see her. Haven't you seen her enough already?"
"As Basil said, it's none of your business."
Abby glared at Allen, who just tilted his head, challenging her with his eyes. She broke eye contact and looked at the others.
"Just don't enter 'The Woods'. Oh who am I kidding? You should know that already."
The three friends, not understanding, left. Just as they closed the door, the twins, Ronny and Emily, came down the stairs.
"Who just left?", asked Ronny.
"BAM. They're heading for Tania's."
"Abby, where have you been? I've been waiting for you in the-"
"Did you just raise your voice at me?"
"No no no. Not at all."
"Good. Let's go." Abby dragged Matt by the arm and went to the library, leaving the twins.
"Tania's." Emily turned to her brother.
"You don't think it's today right?"
"Wouldn't know." He left, with her following seconds after.

To Tania's surprise, Areten's minions followed her without hesitant were hot on her heels. She continued running but this time at a faster speed. When she eventually turned back, she didn't see any of them, making her confused and relieved at the same time. She took moment to rest; placing her hand on the nearest tree.
