Keeping Them Safe

(I will Post chapter 1 again asap. I've just rewrote the meeting between Ai and Akane so it shouldn't take long to finish.)

Akane's P.O.V

I wake up surprisingly early for me. Ai was still asleep, so I had time to think about all that's happened in just one day. I stand up and wander outside from the door in my room. Sadly the peace and quiet that I had been given was cut short when I heard a giant crash from the barbershop.
"Precure, Nature Bond!" I Yell And I transform into my Precure outfit. I blow some of the white sparkles out of my hand before I smile. "Feel the force of my breeze, I'm Cure Wind!" I Say before jumping towards the barbershop. Once I arrive I'm in front of a giant pair of scissors.

"Now Soul." Eiko Yelled while appearing next to it. The soul came at me, but I blocked it and kicked it back. The sun was starting to rise and I knew my mom was gonna find out I snuck out. I couldn't tell her about the PreCure so I had to wrap this up quickly.

"PreCure, Tornado!" I Yell as the giant tornado appears. I send the tornado straight for it which knocks it out for a few seconds. Then I jump in the air, kick the soul with both of my feet making the soul fall and make a dent in the ground. I punch it into a building by accident and gasp. "That is gonna cost a lot of money." I mumble before attacking again which made Eiko furious.

"ATTACK YOU IDIOTIC SOUL!" Eiko yells at the soul. I grab the tornado off the ground before shrinking it and sliding it under the soul. The soul is sucked up then purified and disappears. "Stupid PreCure." Eiko Mumbles Before she disappears. My pajamas reappear as I sprint to my room.  I make it to my room right as the sun peaks over the horizon. I sneak into my bed and pretend to be asleep.

"Akane Wake Up!" My mom Says while opening the door. I sit up and rub my eyes as she leaves probably to go make breakfast. Ai wakes up and yawns before looking straight at me.

"Good Morning Sleepy!" I Say while smiling at her. She smiles back before jumping out of the bed I made her and grooming her fur. I stand up and walk to the bathroom to go through my morning routine. Once I'm done I step out feeling refreshed while opening my dresser. I pull out my school uniform and put it on with a slight frown of disapproval.

"Don't like your uniform Akane?" Ai Asks me.

"Nope." I Answer once it's on me. I head down stairs to find my mom asleep at the table. Instead of bothering her I grab a pop tart and leave so I won't be late.

"Hurry Up." Ai Says from inside my bag. I run to school without tripping or bumping into anything so I smile proudly. I walk inside the building and sit in my seat.

"Sleep Well Akane?" Yui Asks me with a excited smile.

"Indeed! Did you?" I ask back with a smile of my own.

"To be honest I Was Too Ecstatic about coming to school to go to sleep." Yui Says. The teacher walks into the classroom with a frown.

"I need you all to behave for the substitute while I'm out." The teacher says with sadness laced in her voice. An exceptionally old woman walks into the room with a stern expression.

"This is Mrs.Bonderant!" The teacher says trying to be cheerful. We all look at the substitute. The teacher leaves making some people look like they'll burst into tears.

"Okay Everyone It Says here we're gonna start this." Mrs.Bonderant Says as she hands out a fifteen page packet. A bunch of people groan in dissatisfaction. "Stop Complaining. Your wasting your time not mine." Mrs.Bonderant Says as she finishes passing out the packets and sits down in the teachers seat.

"So do we start this on our own?" Haruko Asks softly with her hand raised.

"When I Say we do. Now let's take roll." Mrs.Bonderant Says as she takes out a pencil. She calls our names and we have to say present or here. She pronounced nobody's name right though, so this whole thing was confusing at the same time.

"Okay now let's start this packet." Mrs.Bonderant Says while looking down at the packet. Me and Yui exchange bored looks before Haruko yawns quietly. "NO Yawning." Mrs.Bonderant says angrily. Haruko apologies quickly so I sigh.

"Can I use the bathroom?" A green haired girl in the class asks so Mrs.Bonderant glares at her.

"No Bathroom breaks either." She Said So the girl looked at her packet sadly and I felt bad even though I had nothing to do with it.

~a few hours later it's the end of the day~

"Bye Yui And Haruko!" I Say as I exit the classroom.

"Bye!" Yui says with a bone crushing hug before Haruko smiles bye and wave as I walk away. Once I'm out of school and on my way home I hear a girl crying.

"I'm gonna check that out you go home Ai." I Say as I set down my bag. I make sure that my Key is around my neck before starting to walk towards the sound.

"wait what If a soul reaper comes." Ai Says.

"I'll be fine now go." I instruct. She reluctantly grabs my bag before flying off. I walk towards the building where I Here the girl crying and my eyes go big. This guy in front of me I suppose is her boyfriend and he's kissing some other girl so she's crying. Then I have the horrible pleasure to witness how the soul
Reapers get their souls.
Ichirō Sadly appears and starts saying bad stuff to the girl.

"I want revenge." She mumbles loud enough for everyone around her to hear. Ichirō forces his hand into her abdomen and pulls out her soul. Why was I just standing here? I don't know that myself, but what I do know is that I have to help that girl.
