A MATSUKI'S CUPCAKE

It's six in the morning, and Chase was the first to "wake up", he makes breakfast to the others and eat in silence, watching Mat still spread out on the door, snoring. He can't help but to laugh a little, but then his smile fades when the scene of yesterday appears on his mind...Yuri...does she still loves him? Or was she lying to him, just to hurt him even more? He was getting crazy because he wasn't getting any answers so far. Suddenly he hears a noise, waking him up to reality, he sees Natsuki yawning and stretching out, walking towards him.

"Oh, hey, Chase!"

"Hey..." he answers, his voice is low and thick.

She is too sleepy to notice that Chase is not in a good mood, she sits by his side and starting eating the pancakes he made.

"Hmm! So good~" she is half awake obviously, how can Natsuki act like that? The only food she compliments its her's.

After she eats and washes her face, she looks totally awake.

"Oh? They are not awake yet?" she asks, confused. "Well, so, how are you, Chase?"

"I'm fine" he replies blankly.

"Hmph, you sure? You looks a little down lately. You can always count on me, okay?" she insists, visibly worried.

He doesn't see why he shouldn't tell Natsuki about Yuri and Mat, so he just blew out quietly.

"It's just...i saw Mat and Yuri yesterday...hugging."

"...Is this a problem?" - she asks, confused, she know Mat wouldn't do this to Chase, not even Yuri, and hugging is not a big deal, right?

"Yes, it is, because...I..." - he swallows the empty on his troath. - "I'm planning to marry her today, and seeing them so close made me feel...alone, ignored..."

"Oh, come on!" Natsuki suddenly blurts, scaring Chase. - "Just because of a little hug you won't make your wish come true? Seriously?

"But...i saw them, and they were whispering to each other something...I should've known...she loves Mat..."

Natsuki hit the table with her bare hands, furious. She closes her eyes, Chase is still staring at the nothing.

"Uuu-! Look, Chase, i know you're down because of what you saw, but Mat wouldn't do this to his friend, i know him very well, you problably confused something, okay?"

"..."

"And, plus, if i was you, i would go on, because..." - Natsuki opens her eyes, focusing hard on her words. - "Even though i'm almost sure the person doesn't like back, i would want to know the right answer, alright?"

Chase is shocked, Natsuki is appearing so strong and convincing now that it's impossible to ignore, maybe she is right...maybe he confused something and...Yeah, he's going to do it, no matter what he think he saw, right?

"...Natsuki, thanks." - he says, smiling. - "I didn't know you got that in you."

"...No need to t-thank me!" - she stutters, red. - "And, I'm professional at conversations, besides cooking!"

Chase is back to himself now, he knows what he needs to do, and he'll do it, he lifts up from his chair and goes to wake up Mat, throwing a pillow at him. Natsuki laughs and washes the rest of the dishes. She is impressed and shocked, she helped him? She helped him! She's more proud than she imagined it to be. Marry Yuri, huh, this boy is really in love with her...Natsuki didn't thought her friend was actually serious about his relationship, anyways, she wishes him and Yuri the best. She starts by making a quick snack when Yuri arrives at the kitchen. For some minute the air stops by tension, however, Mat yells on the main room.
