My Dearest Readers,
I am at a bit of an impasse. I have some plot holes I would like to cover, a few moments that need deeper development, and some flushing out to do in some previous chapters.
I am asking respectfully for your help in finding those parts that need clarity or development. If you know of a part in this book that could use a bit of that, let me know. Drop a comment here with the chapter, or even what you would like to see more of in previous chapters here.
I am unsure of whether to take a pause and do these things, for a few weeks tops, or edit as I am going. It truly depends on how many people are waiting on the next chapters each time I update. I would hate to go back to rare updates and let you down.
So, if you are someone who is waiting on next chapters PLEASE let me know. If there are a few of you who are, I will for sure just edit more slowly so that I can continue to give you updates! Please please please let me know!
Okay! Love you guys so so so much! Now, for the sneak peak into whats coming.
. . .
"Humans and wolves and vampires, oh my." I laugh at Rose's upturned nose as she eyes the spectacle around her.
Across the room Jacob Black and Embry Call stand stiffly next to Bella. Edward's sights are set on the three. Someone bumps into me and breaks my focus on the grouping.
"I hate this." Rose quips, but I'm distracted by Alice who stands frozen on the stairway.
She's by my side in an instant, her hand finding mine quickly.
"Cali, what is it. What does she see?"
I'm frozen by the fear I feel in Alice. My gift only gives me the ability to see flashes of her vision, but it's enough to understand.
"Here, they're coming here." I gasp.
. . .
"I asked you not to interfere, Paul. I asked for time."
"I don't know why the hell you think you're the only one who has any kind of claim over what my imprint knows about this world." Paul seethes, clutching his bruised cheek.
"So because you have some kind of wolfy fucked up thing with her, it gives you the full claim?" I yell again, taking a step towards him only to be held back by Jasper's tight grasp.
"She was going to find out eventually, I can't keep secrets from her you fucking leech." he growls, tremoring slightly.
"So you told her I'm a vampire? You're an absolute asshole. You better stay away from me, because I swear if I see you when he's not around, I will murder you." I hiss, shrugging grudgingly out of Jasper's arms.
. . .
"Oh we've heard stories about you, I expected someone more well, formidable" Piercing red eyes glance over at me as I stand slightly hidden behind Jasper and the blaze of the fire.
"Yeah, heard about you too, you're not exactly what I pictured either." I step out slightly so she can get a better glimpse of me.
Jasper clutches tightly at me, pulling me back to his side as quickly as I stepped out.
"I'm sure everything you've heard is more than flattering." the girl smirks, and Carlisle steps in.
"Of course, we all appreciate the work you do." he glances back at me with warning in his eyes.
"News travels fast, Italy always hears. Aro is interested in you, you're a bit of a fascination to him." Jane sneers, taking one more once over of our family before turning and following her group to disappear into the woods.
Jasper's arms wrap tightly around me at her departure. His worry cascades over me.
Italy is coming.
