you quickly stood up, walking back upstairs to get someone to accompany you to check the sound.

you enter the room to see everyone still asleep but you happen to see a small flash of light from under one of the sheets.

you approach the spot and lift the sheets up.

johnny: ❝yEET YOUR ROTTEN ASS AWAY FROM ME!!❞

you giggle at johnny's reaction after you catch him searching up memes from the internet. the male had also taken his turn laughing along.

johnny: ❝you're up early.❞

yuta: ❝can you follow me? i feel like there's something we need to check outside. i don't want to go alone.❞

johnny raises an eyebrow but soon nods. he gets up to get all washed up before meeting you at the living room.

he's armed with a two baseball bats, one metal and the other wooden. he looks at you to lead the way.

you and johnny find your way around the house porch and see what has been causing the unsettling noises.

a group, about five, of zombies were gnawing at a stationary car that was parked beside the house. probably the previous owner's car.

you want to charge forward but johnny holds you back.

you see him pick up a rather large rock. he hurls it towards the group, fortunately injuring one by the head as it collapses.

the others are quick to turn their heads to see both of you. some started charging at you both while the others started a rather gross act by ripping and biting the collapsed walker, eating it.

you feel the need to gag at the sight but you hold your composure. johnny takes the lead by swinging the bat, smashing a head of a zombie. a sickening crack could be heard when he landed the blow.

you back him up, smashing the glass bottle on one of the grotesque creatures before using the sharp edges to stab.

you both soon take down the group, heading back into the house.

you were lucky to have called johnny to come along with you.
