⌨ take a walk

you have chosen to take a walk around the house

you stroll down the stairs and head for the front door where you first entered from.

you look around your surroundings. there is no one watching you leave. you smile to yourself and twist the knob of the door before heading out.

you have a flashlight with you and a bat you took from the store room to defend yourself.

you take a stroll along the fence of the front porch of the large house so you would not get lost along the street. the perimeter of the house is large and you estimate to be done with your walk after two minutes.

you trudge on, feeling your eyelids getting heavy. you are getting sleepy so you fasten your steps to get back into the house for some sleep.

then, you hear a growl. you turn about, flashing the torch. the beam of light flashes across you but you see no traces of anything.

another growl, this time closer. you feel your heart racing and sweat dripping from your forehead. you are certain that you are in danger.

you raise the bat defensively and stay alert. a quick loud snarl from behind enters your ears as you try to turn about to swing the bat.

you're too slow and the zombie scratches your arm with it's dirty nails. you shriek in pain and swing the bat at the same time.

your aim is on point as you smash its face away from you. you quickly retract your arm and make a run back to the house, holding your arm.

you're panting by the time you're back inside and locking the door shut.

you have attracted much attention from the group that has passed by you.

the dreamies has seen you heaving hard and holding your bloodied arm.

chenle is the first to gasp loudly and rush to you. the others are also by your side, chenle being the most concerned.

mark takes you to sit down at the couch before he goes off to take the first aid, donghyuck trailing after him. renjun and jisung are putting away the things you've brought when you went out, leaving you with chenle, jeno and jaemin.

chenle: ❝hyung, what happened!? what happened to your arm?❞

jeno: ❝yeah, it looks pretty bad.❞

jaemin can only frown at your wound and nuzzle against you to give you comfort.

you decide to keep quiet and just smile at them. jeno keeps quiet after but chenle won't stop.

chenle: ❝does it hurt a lot? is there anything i can do to help? are you going to be okay?❞

you chuckle at the boy's show of concern and nodded your head.

yuta: ❝i'll be fine, chenle. don't worry❞

chenle: ❝but hyung—❞

the boy is cut off with mark pushing him aside, first aid box in hand.

mark: ❝he'd be better with you being quiet. all of you head to sleep, it's late.❞

the others nod and start to leave for the rooms upstairs. chenle gives you one more hug before going upstairs to sleep.

mark cleans and bandages up your wound, frowning as you flinch and wince. he stops once in a while when you hiss harshly at the pain.

once he's done, mark quickly puts away the first aid box and returns to your side. he follows you to the room where you'd be sleeping in and gets his place beside you.

you smile at his sudden clinginess and poke his cheek. mark pouts but soon smiles knowing you're alright.

you go to sleep soundly, smiling as you recall the sweet actions by your young members.
